What do u think was the downfall of Pink and her album "try this"?
She went from sellign over 10 million world wide from "misunderstood" and didnt even sell a million with "try this." Normally you decline little by little and settle into more modest sales the way Britney or Janet did...but Pinks sells were dissapointing on all accounts.
I know her 1st single sucked but i thought "god is a dj" was excellent. do u think she will have a chance for better success with her next album?

I'm sure Try This sold at least a million worldwide.

She was better off with the hip-hop chica stuff. "Most Girls" is an urban classic! She was urban cool, like Natalie Brown.
Maybe if she reunites with Joy Enriquez from her ex music trio, she'll have a comeback?

That comes with the risk of experimenting with new genres and types of music, she'll move on to the next collaboration and genre with her fourth album, likely just a bump in the road.

I don't think she's over yet. She's got a lot to offer. I loved Try This, I don't care what anyone says.

Her music went downhill. The first single sucked but the second single sucked even more. Plus, she turned everybody off with her attitude and people got sick of her.

she turned everybody off with her attitude and people got sick of her. I don't think it had anything to do with that. How can anyone get sick of someone after just one big album? I think it had to do with the crappy first single.

This has been discussed before. She has simply been over exposed. She should not have released "Feel Good Time" at all, especially so close to her next album. After "Family Portrait" did very well and "Feel Good Time" came quickly after, radio always had something to play by her. They were sick of her. Then "Trouble" came out quickly after "Feel Good Time," and there was even more P!nk. Also, she should have released "God Is a DJ," not "Trouble." If she had not released "Feel Good Time" and released "God is A DJ" as her first single a little bit later her comeback would have been more anticipated.

Get The Party Started - Fall 2001 Don't Let Me Get Me - Early 2002 Just Like A Pill - Summer 2002 Family Portrait - Early 2003 Feel Good Time - Spring 2003 Trouble - Fall 2003 God Is A DJ - Fall 2003
It sorta felt like it came from ONE album.

It's a shame that Pink hasn't had much success lately. I think that out of all the pop bitches out there, she was the most talented and creative. I hope she comes back. I miss her! Haha :)

She kept changing her style of music too much. She lost most of her fanbase. And with crappy songs, like "Trouble", she wasn't able to attract new fans.

Pink is the new black! (See...even a joke including Pink was a flop) 2 bad 4 her. I stil think she has talent though. I just don't wanna see or hear from her until early 2006.

i think that pink was trying 2 hard 2 be something she's not... mizundastood was more emotional and from the heart than Pink's follow-up album: try this... her vocal's are amazing, her style is unique- but her message is not meaningful enough...

Mizunderstood was just too overplayed. I heard Just Like A Pill and Get The Party Started way too often after they already ran their course. I was hearing a Pink song almost every 2 hours when Feel Good Time came out and I was just tired of Pink by then. Then Trouble just was a bad song. Also the whole bad girl theme started to wear thin on me. I really didn't want to hear Pink sing about being a whole lot of trouble. My local station played Last To Know a bit but definitly enough to make the top 30
