Ever come across a portion of a song that you think is so wonderful that you would call it a "musical orgasmic moment"?
One of mine is in "Run" by Collective Soul. The part where the violins come in right after the first time he sings "I've got a long way to Run." Ahhhhhh!
What are yours?

Okay, this may not be what you're looking for, but I made my own tracklisting to Michelle Branch's 'Hotel Paper' and I swear I had a tiny orgasm. I believe the tracklisting went like this...
1. Are You Happy Now? 2. On the Train 3. Tuesday Morning 4. Find Your Way Back 5. Love Me Like That 6. Empty Handed 7. Telly You About It 8. Desperately 9. Breathe 10. Fall 11. Lay Me Down 12. One of These Days 13. Hotel Paper

These are the latest. Dip it low - the part where she says "come on, come on, come on!" (that drives me nuts!) Goodies - the party where she says "my goodies, mmy goodies, not my goodies!" all Nite - The whole songs excites me. but i love the "ooooooooo dont stop dont stop" i'm starting to notice that my songs are the only ones that are sexually orgasmic

I think i know what you are all talking about. At the end of Ashlee Simpson's "Pieces Of Me", when she says "oooooooooooooooh i love how you can tell, oooooooooooh i love how you can tell" always gives me a musical orgasm.

· Tubular bells - Mike Oldfield -> when the tubular bells sound at the end of the part one. · Pillar Of Davidson - Live -> at the end of the song with the background vocals · Hands down - Dashboard Confessional -> "Hands down this is the best ... ... ... and you kissed me like you meant it" · Driving with the brakes on - Del Amitri -> "Faster than .... " · Just the way I'm feeling - Feeder -> all the chorus. Just great · Mr Jones - Counting Crows -> from the beginning till the end, but becoming better and better as the song goes on. · The Beginning - Lifehouse -> "Hello, from the world below ...." the best the last time it is said. .... and these are the songs I remmember right now

Christina Aguilera's Beautiful. I love the whole bridge, leading right up to the last chorus. The back up singers, Christina Aguilera, piano chords and strings are all interwoven almost magically. Such a brilliant song.
Avril Lavigne's Naked. The last 30 seconds of the song is just gut wrenching

LOL what's up with horrible signatures today? You can't give "Genie In A Bottle" entire credit for the late 90's teen pop era. "Baby One More Time", and "Bye, Bye, Bye", had just as big as an impact as Christina's song did. And you can't give Christina full credit for being the most successful artist on pop radio today either. We established she shares it with J.lo and Pink.

The beginning of Evanescence's Imaginary. The violins coming in are just amazing. You might just say that my board name is equivalent to an orgasm

The orchestra after the bridge in Chantal Kreviazuk's 'Wayne'. I would call that the best musical section of all time in my CD collection!!
BLAST IT!

Are you saying that because you're serious or because you have a hard on for Chantel?
Come on now, don't lie.
If we're talking orchestras, then..
Matthew Good Band - Strange Days Blinker the Star - Below the Sliding Doors A Perfect Circle - The Nurse Who Loved Me (Awesome Failure cover and another musical orgasm moment in its own right) Bush - Bone Driven The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony Green Day - Time Of Your Life And You Will Know Us By the Trail Of Dead - Source Tags and Codes The Cranberries - Linger System Of a Down - Aerials Manic Street Preachers - Everything Must Go Harvey Danger - Wrecking Ball

the bridge of Christina's "Walk Away," the way it builds and builds, getting more intense, and then finally gets to the part..
Inside I'm screaming, begging pleading No more... oh, ohh
then it all goes calm again and slides right into the next verse.. love that

I'm sure she begs and screams for something quite regularly. But yeah, I'm sure I'm stating the obvious.

I'll third the mention of APC's "Orestes."
Of recent, off the top of my head: Avenged Sevenfold "I Won't See You Tonight part 1" when M. comes back in and starts wailing his heart out, and toward the very end when the strings change slightly at the end of the phrase before repeating again.
Atreyu "Lip Gloss and Black" when the guitar solo kicks off between the 2 piano parts.
The Killers "Somebody Told Me": the synth fill right after the first chorus.
Lostprophets "Make a Move": the measure before each chorus.
Evanescence "Everybody's Fool": The bridge through the end of the song as I'm watching the video: (starting with the elevator scene.)
AFI "The Leaving Song Pt. II" (Davey's scream before the last chorus.)
Velvet Revolver "Slither" (The pick-up notes right before the main riffs kick in.)
AFI "Girl's Not Grey": The turnaround on the guitar that leads to the outro. (Is that what those are called? Those really quick slides up and back down the neck of the guitar used as transitions?)
Lostprophets "Sway" (including all of Jamie's auxiliary textures afterward.)
AFI "Death of Seasons" (when the second half of the verses kick in; both times the song kicks into double-time.)
Ministry "No W" (how the album version is reworked to include that well-known, epic choral piece. I don't know who the composer is, or where it became so popular.)
Mobb Deep "Got It Twisted" (Just the fact that they took a motif from "She Blinded Me With Science" and looped it into an ominous hip hop soundscape for their violent narratives, is orgasmic brilliance in itself. See also the Pac-Man sampling "Game Over" by Lil' Flip.)
That's plenty for this topic. A+ songs are usually orgasmic by themselves, so I have to get more specific and refer to certain parts.
