"Flutterby" by Butterfly Boucher gets my vote for best album of 2004 not to chart on the Billboard 200 chart.
Any other great non Billboard 200 chart albums released in 2004 that deserve to share this award with Butterfly Boucher?

Can't think of any that missed the top 200 altogether, but if AllMusic.com is correct, I'll nominate Muse's Absolution (#107 peak on Billboard 200) for best album that hasn't made the top 100 yet.

I second Absolution from Muse. This has to be one of the better concept albums to come out in a while.

I'm not sure I know any albums that didn't make the Top 200.

My favorite album of all-time is from 2004 and has never made the Billboard 200, at least according to AllMusic.com The album is Nude, the artist is VAST.

I'll say Sondre Lerche's 'Two Way Monologue' since I doubt that made it.
