Garbage - Garbage (purchased the day of the topic's creation)
Ones that I'll think of, but later: Lit - Lit Rancid - Indestructible Rancid - And Out Come the Wolves System of a Down - Steal This Album!

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is more than worth the retail price. The self titled Garbage cd is a classic in my own honest opinion. Rated R from Queens Of the Stone Age is a classic that not a lot of people know about unfortunately. Tool's Undertow is also worth any kind of price. Tool - Undertow Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R Garbage - Garbage The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Rated R from Queens Of the Stone Age is a classic that not a lot of people know about unfortunately. Yeah, it's a shame that the Queens' earlier stuff tends to get overlooked in favour of Songs for the Deaf - Rated R had some stunning tracks and was every bit Songs' equal. I almost think it's a bit more cohesive as a full album than Songs is. You *need* Mellon Collie. IMHO one of the greatest double albums of all time. Rancid "And Out Come the Wolves" is also pretty decent- it was their breakthrough album if I recall. Ahh, the memories of "Time Bomb".

Ash - Meltdown Radiohead - deleted Honey (see The Killers but on a more extreme level) Meltdown is a lot more aggressive than their previous records but is also a very happy sounding record. As albums go, it's probably their best since 1977. You *should* be able to find it with a bonus live disc as well. I found deleted to be Radiohead's least consistent record. It has some good moments of course (Creep, Anyone Can Play Guitar, Ripcord) but it's not as consistent as their later stuff. Still, it's interesting to hear their origins. You should be able to get it pretty cheap though.

Porcelain is an ok cd, about equal to Wiretap Scars. More of the same ole, same ole in my opinion.
The Unauthorized Bio of etc... is just as good as anything Folds has ever put out.
And Mark Lanegan owns.I hope Lanegan and Holme hook up again.
