Angela Via is underrated, despite her several smash hits. Check out her soooooooooooooulful "Stop Stop Stop," with its PG-13 lyrics.

Andrea Corr.
A lot of people think she can't sing because she is too drop dead gorgeous.
I say don't hate her because she is beautiful. That only applies to singers who can't sing.

Vivian Green and nowadays Brandy and Tori Amos. Oh, and even more so, Titiyo!

Tori Amos is only underrated in terms of what people who listen to CHR think.

Tamyra Gray is very underated not only a great singer but a great songwriter and actress .A real triple threat if there ever was one if "19" or who ever had promoted her right she would be on top of the world.Β

And what about Jill Scott ? Amazing Voice.... I'd say she's just about "rated" with her core audience! (listening to "Golden") I'm so glad she did not sell out to be a more mainstream artist. Do you, Jill!

no1 will ever know her talent until she records a solo album and lets people hear what she can really do. But I have always thought she was a great singer.

And What about LARA FABIAN, she doesn't have many chance to sing in America!
And now her first single from her new english album is a flop on AC radio! Why? The Last Goodbye is a good song! no?
If you seen her live you will understand why she's the best! If you find her rendition of YENTL (papa can you hear me / Piece of sky) on net, download it right now!

Lucy Woodward. Katy Rose. Toby Lightman. Michelle Branch. (She's had numerous hit singles, but her album sales don't match up to that.) Tamyra Gray. Dido. (At least in the US, she pretty much is.) Mandy Moore. Sarah McLachlan (She's way too fantastic to be getting the sales she has been getting.) Tori Amos. Charlotte Martin.
That's all I can think of...for now.

Michelle Branch. (She's had numerous hit singles, but her album sales don't match up to that.) I agree that Michelle is under-rated... from a vocal standpoint. I think she has one of the best voices in Pop music today. Although, I would say she's had pretty good album sales, with a 3x platinum album and a 1x platinum (or very close to it) album. If an artist hits platinum every time out, I'd say they're doing just fine.

I'd also like to add Mindy Smith.
Both singles "Come to Jesus" and the forthcoming "Fifgting For It All" are top-notch material, yet she may be stuck in triple A.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton
