What would you say is your song of the summer? Looking back on 2004, what would the top song of the season be for you?
For me, it would have to be 'Jaded' by Melissa McClelland. Although it only just hit #1 on my current charts, I got her CD late in May and have been consistantly listening to it since then, all throughout the Summer, with 'Jaded' being the track to represent the album, therefore making that my favourite song of the season! The album and song are both at their peaks for me right now as well so for the next few weeks, Melissa McClelland will be my main musical interest.

Anita Baker's "You're My Everything" was easily the biggest song on my chart over the summer.

"My Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne.
For fall the song will definitely be "White Houses."

Anita Baker's "You're My Everything" was easily the biggest song on my chart over the summer. yeah, i gave it about 100 plays, so its #1 for me too. but its not a "summer song" in the typical sense. for that i think i would have to pick "Headsprung" or "goodies"

My song of the Summer in 1994 would prolly have been 'Don't Turn Around' by Ace Of Base... which I heard today. Awesome stuff!

My song of the summer was Toy's #13 club smash "Just Wanna Dance". What a phenemenon! That song had people asking if they would get with a girl or a guy tonight! Also racy references to ass touching! Look out for this year's fall smash by Utada "I Sold 20 Million Records Worldwide aka Japan" (Hikaru) "Easy Breezy". It's easy breezy. Too bad I'm not Japanesy! 6 pre-impact spins! SMASH!

The five songs that hit #1 on my chart this summer (June 4 to August 27), with weeks at #1, weeks in top 5, and weeks in top 10 during the 13-week period:
(2)(5)(7) Seether f/Amy Lee - Broken (3)(7)(8) Switchfoot - Dare You to Move (2)(8)(10) Lostprophets - Wake Up (Make a Move) (4)(9)(9) Train - Ordinary (2)(5)(6) Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit
So it's close, but I'll have to go with Train - "Ordinary".

Seals and Crofts "Summer Breeze" but not the remix.ย The original is too good to be improved.

Wow--this is a really hard question for me.
I'm thinking one of Jet's singles, maybe "Cold Hard Bitch" or "Rollover DJ." "Float On" by Modest Mouse is another candidate. I'll have to think about this one for a while...
