Here's mine:
1. "Tipsy," J-Kwon 2. "One Call Away," Chingy featuring Jason Weaver 3. "Splash Waterfalls (Remix)," Ludacris featuring Raphael Saadiq 4. "All Falls Down," Kanye West featuring Syleena Johnson 5. "Overnight Celebrity," Twista 6. "Freek-A-Leek," Petey deleted 7. "This Way," Dilated Peoples featuring Kanye West
8. "Breathe," Fabolous 9. "Breathe, Stretch, Shake," Mase 10. "You & Me," J-Kwon
I didn't include songs like "Suga Suga," "Through the Wire," and "Slow Jamz" because they came out in 2003... even though I personally was more into them this year. If I did, my Top 5 would be very different and 8-10 that I listed wouldn't be on here.
I didn't include "Roses" by Outkast or any Black Eyed Peas songs because I don't consider them rap... but if I did "Shut Up" would be my #1 and "Roses" and possibly "Let's Get It Started" would be in the Top 10.

01. "All Falls Down," Kanye West f/ Syleena Johnson 02. "Wanna Get To Know You," G-Unit f/ Joe 03. "Splash Waterfalls," Ludacris f/ Raphael Saadiq 04. "Suga Suga," Baby Bash f/ Frankie J. 05. "Slow Jamz," Twista f/ Kanye West & Jamie Foxx 06. "Slow Motion," Juvenile f/ Soulja Slim 07. "Why," Jadakiss f/ Anthony Hamilton 08. "Hotel," Cassidy f/ R. Kelly 09. "My Place," Jaheim f/ Nelly 10. "So Sexy," Twista f/ R. Kelly
I haven't been a big fan of rap in 2004. #9 and #10 didn't even make the Top 10 of my personal chart. I didn't include OutKast's "Roses" because that's not really rap to me but if I did, it would be in the Top 5.

Hmmm, can't tabulate this year because I'd be sure to leave out some songs but choosing just from what I can think of:
Ludacris - Diamond In The Back Kanye West - All Falls Down J-Kwon - Tipsy Twista - Overnight Celebrity Petey deleted - Freak-A-Leak D12 - My Band
....that's all I can think of. There are obviously more.

1. Outkast - Roses 2. N.E.R.D. - She Wants To Move 3. Jay - Z - 99 Problems 4. Outkast - Hey Ya! (this would be #1 if it was top 10 of 03-04.) 5. The Beastie Boys - Ch-check It Out 6. Jay - Z (featuring Pharrell Williams) - Change Clothes 7. Usher (featuring Ludachris and Lil' Jon) - Yeah! 8. Lil' Jon & The Eastside Boyz - Get Low 9. Outkast - The Way You Move 10. J Kwon - Tipsy
It was a major stretch to get these ten (and I enjoy rap, too). If I had to pick eleven, I'd have to stretch it even more to include "Frontin'" (since it's merely an R and B song with a verse of rap), or "Right Thurr" (even though it fell off my chart in November of 2003), or "Triple Trouble" (which I don't even like that much, but it's fueled by credibility).

1. OutKast - "The Way You Move" 2. Beastie Boys - "Ch-Check It Out" 3. Usher f/ Lil Jon & Ludacris - "Yeah!" 4. Jay-Z - "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" 5. Kanye West f/ Syleena Johnson - "All Falls Down" 6. Baby Bash f/ Frankie J - "Suga Suga" 7. Kanye West - "Jesus Walks" 8. Fabulous - "Breathe" 9. Beastie Boys - "Triple Trouble" 10. D12 - "My Band"
"She Wants To Move" may have been a top 10 hit on my personal chart, but I don't consider that rap. However, Ludacris's part of "Yeah!" is enough for it to make the list anyway. I didn't listen to many hip-hop songs this year, although the majority of the songs on here did make my chart. I also don't consider "Roses" too much of a rap song, but that would be high on there.

1. I'm Really Hot - Missy Elliott 2. Lean Back - Terror Squad 3. Culo - Pitbull 4. All Falls Down - Kanye West 5. Dirt Off Your Shoulder - Jay-Z 6. Splash Waterfalls - Ludacris 7. Overnight Celebrity - Twista 8. Headsprung - LL Cool J 9. So Sexy - Twista 10. Slow Jamz - Twista
these are pulled straight from my charts this year... if I were just putting the ones I like the most, I'd drop LL Cool J and "So Sexy", and add "Ride Wit U" and "Tipsy"

I can't get over how many people consider "She Wants To Move" rap. I'm confused.

1. The Way You Move-Outkast 2. Tilt Ya Head Back- Nelly featuring CA
And that's it.
Disappointing rap year, though I don't really like rap that much to begin with.

1. Linkin Park - Lying From You 2. Atmosphere - Trying to Find a Balance 3. Outkast - The Way You Move 4. Black Eyed Peas - Hey Mama 5. Black Eyed Peas - Let's Get It Started 6. Beastie Boys - Ch-Check It Out 7. Skinny Puppy - Pro-Test 8. Cypress Hill - What's Your Number
I know a lot of the songs I have above aren't considered "mainstream rap" but they are all structured in rap form and are at least 50% rapping.

I included "She Wants To Move" as a rap song because N.E.R.D. is classified as a rap group, which is what they most often do, and it still has the same rhythms that could have just as well been inserted into one of their rap songs. And because I wanted to come up with a full set of 10 songs. I can't say I disagree with anyone that claims it isn't rap, though.
I completely forgot about "What's Your Number". That'd probably make the list for me, too.

Not a great year for rap, IMO:
1. My Band - D12 2. How Come - D12 3. 99 Problems - Jay-Z 4. Roses - Outkast 5. Dirt Off Your Shoulder - Jay-Z
I'll add in more if I can think of any. I'm sure "Just Lose It" will be #1 when I hear it.
