I heard on the radio this morning that this will be their first release off of their greatly anticipated album due out this June, meaning that this single should be available at the end of March or so.
I have heard some people mention this song at some of their latest performances and say it is their best, not to mention, Flower's mentioned it himself in a Rolling Stone Article sometime last summer. Just by the name of the song I am really interested to hear this and I'm expecting this album to be a little more "New Order\Depeche Mode" for the Killers.
Anyone else know anything about this?

Awesome. Definitely an immensely anticipated song, and I'm sure it's not just us.

I knew they would be coming out with new material soon, but was still surprised and did not expect this to be going for adds along with Pearl Jam, the Chili Peppers, and this new crop.
I, too, misread No Brakes' comment about hearing ABOUT rather than hearing the actual song.
But, Wow, I am excited!!

I thought the album was coming out in the fall? Oh well, I'm not complaining! The title of the song gives me a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach but I'm looking forward to hearing this nevertheless.

"Hot Fuss" was an alright album. The first half was very strong, but after the sixth track, it sounded uninteresting and bleak to me each listen, and I never grew on the latter half.
Also, my Hot AC station has been playing "Somebody Told Me" and "Mr. Brightside" like crazy, and they seem to sound less eclectic and more generic than many make The Killers out to be, so I hope there is musical maturity and growth with this new album.
I prefer Franz Ferdinand much more judged on debut albums, but I will surely give The Killers next a listen.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

"Hot Fuss" could quite possibly be one of the most overrated albums of all time.
Their lyrics are downright atrocious, but the music I think still makes up for it. I was never an '80s fan, and consider most of this recent Joy Division/Cure re-hash to be overrated in the first place. That said, I really am anxious to hear how this sounds, as their last album was good for what it was worth.

If Flood and Alan Moulder are producing it, there's no doubt that I'll probably like it. I look forward to this.

Musically, the album was really tight. Lyrically, it was embarassing. Hopefully they improve in that area the second time around.

It turns out almost every other Killers song I've heard is better than Somebody Told Me and Mr. Brightside. That being said, I'm awaiting the third single.

Can't believe this is already coming out...my station had All These Things That I've Done in pretty much high to medium rotation until last month, and now they're starting to play Jenny Was A Friend of Mine as an unofficial fifth single.
