As for the album covers, the key word describing the Hinder girl is anonymous. There's nothing distinctive about her at all. She Wants Revenge's cover is just a girl seeking revenge. The girl is attractive, but that's not the primary reason she's on the cover, plus she's wearing a tank top over her black bra anyway. As for Atreyu, no matter what she is wearing or implying, a vampire chick is not lowest common denominator any way you look at it. They don't put vampires on the cover of Maxim. She's symbolizing their music. If anything, the Hinder chick symbolizes the band's type of music, which is broad and indistinct enough as it is, and therefore, the cover is simply a lowest common denominator appealing cop-out. Her anonymity had crossed my mind, but I couldn't figure out how to express that in my opinions. Then you come in and nail it on the head, as well as what I couldn't quite put my finger on with Atreyu. Thanks. :) And to jdmasta: who the hell is Gontier?

Point well taken on the "anonymity" argument of the shirtless female atop Extreme Behavior. I do think they get some unfair treatment on this board, although I don't particularly like them either (I've even devoted a facebook group loathing their very existence). Oh, and Adam Gontier - Three Days Grace lead singer - Canuck, Canadian, vicious "animal", mask-wearer, mohawk-wearer? (sorry if I offended any Canadians on this board - I love you guys, I seriously do....)

I had a hunch "Gontier" was referring to 3DG's singer. It shows how little actual press coverage they get when I haven't even learned his name by osmosis after three years and 4 hit singles and counting. I didn't even remember "Adam" was his first name. I thought it was, like, Justin, or something.

I was just about to write that they should send a remix of this to cun-tray so it could get played next to Toby Keith and Trace Adkins when I noticed that there's already a song called Lips Of An Angel on the country chart. Does anyone know more about this?

Eh, that doesn't completely surprise me. Well, it surprises me that someone would be so quick on the gun with a remake. But, lyrically, I think the song fits right in with most of what country plays today.

Ride the wave while it's hot, cause in the 2 years time that conventional wisdom would tell you to wait before normally making a country cover, the band will be dead in the water and it won't be pretentious enough to cover this song then. I'm not surprised either.
How long before some no-name rap artist tries to sample this song in his or her hip-hop beats.

I'm not surprised either. Hinder will likely not maintain as much alternative success from here on out, although Active Rock is certainly not out of the question, considering pop mainstays Nickelback are still a central core group among many Rock stations around the country. I doubt releasing power ballads would keep CHR/Pop warm to them as well. Hell, even 3 Doors Down had mid-tempo songs. How long before some no-name rap artist tries to sample this song in his or her hip-hop beats. Haha, I can't imagine this background ever being sampled in a hip-hop song, but stranger things have happened. ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0270.gif)

I know this is random to say but I always read & hear people don't like the lyrics to this song.
I personally like them because they're simple & they get the point across.
