The song isn't even five minutes long when it gets to the point where the jocks are going to start talking over the outro, so an edit isn't anywhere near as necessary as y'all are making it out to be.
Although Live('s record company) thought that a song that's 3:24 needed editing down, so who really knows for sure anymore.

What the? ??? I meant High Quality version of the song, or CD version. I see. In that case.... IGNORE ME!!!!! mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/mychwelc.wmaI agree penance. I mean if someone needs a High Quality version, just buy the album or download the All Access clip to an iPod. This is not a site to ask for MP3s. Back on topic I like it. I hope it gets consideration for pop radio.

This is an overwhelmingly great song, although they're all-too-obviously inspired by the riffs of American Idiot (the album, not the poster, although I bet the poster would wish that to be so).
It simply won't get pop consideration, or at least any more than AFI did with "Miss Murder". His voice is too "alternative" to even sound pop-friendly. Sad, because crap like D4L and Chamillionaire aren't pop friendly - I know I'm beating a dead horse. So when's this "rock is making a comeback" theory ever going to prove itself to be true, anyway? 2014? Even that's probably too soon. *Sigh*
I saw their interview and performance of a couple of the new songs on Fuse, Nicholas' favorite network, this afternoon. I must have been listening to a shortened version of "Black Parade", because he scream-peats the first part of the first verse before the tempo kicks up.

Aw shucks, not me. If downloading their Three Cheers album and seeing them live once doesn't inspire them, then Green Day gets the credit, which they quite should.

I am hoping they have a rock friendly and pop friendly single lined up. Like, I dont want them to go too poppy, but it would be awesome if pop found a place for a rock song. When was the last time a real rock song went top 10? I guess some people would count Hinder and Far Away...

No they do not count, but "Beverly Hills", "Scars", the Green Day singles...they work well enough for me.

I forgot Green Day, though I am looking for...fast rock songs I guess. It seems like if a rock artist crosses over its a ballad or something like Beverly Hills. Though I suppose Holiday would count-that one actually did a lot better than I thought it would on pop.

There seems to be a rock comeback right now on the charts, although I think you guys wouldnt consider that "true rock" ;) I just saw the video and it was underwhelming. What about that little "film" that aired before their VMA preshow performance then? That was shot well enough to be a video and looked good. I thought it was a snippet of their video. Oh well.

I thought it was a really well done video. I see this being the first chapter of something. Since the album is a story, I'll bet anything the next vid picks up where this one left off.

I saw their interview and performance of a couple of the new songs on Fuse, Nicholas' favorite network, this afternoon... Hey man, give me Fuse over any other video channel any day. I just get disgruntled when I get to watch it at my girlfriend's house and 90% of the rock content ends up being start-up interchangeable Warped bands with very brief catalogs.

I'll agree with Nicholas on that. They should change the name of that guy's show into "Steven's Untitled Emo Show" because its all he shows. I wonder what happened to that program that was their wannabe "Subterranean" or all those metal shows with that slutty goth chick. They even had one 30 minute show dedicated to Latin Alternative videos. *shrug* I still like it though, but I'm afraid of the direction they are heading with some of their new programming.

I used to like Fuse much better when they just showed all day basically any kind of rock video and once in awhile slipped in some hip-hop song I didn't care about. Now, I've noticed they show almost all punk/emo/screamo videos, which I can't complain about, but I would like to see more of a variety. Speaking of videos, its very rare that I even see them anymore with all the crazy shows they've put on in the past year like that Pants Off Dance Off show or whatever it is.

Yeah, I'm not really getting the whole joke that Pants Off/Dance Off tries to give off. To me, it's incredibly annoying and just unnecessarily vulgar.
As for Fuse's "emo" edge, I don't really know what to make of it. It definitely does appeal to the "young adolescent" alternative audience (say, 14-21 year olds). I would support more of a variety of rock videos but when you lean in the direction of indie and '90s music like my alternative station does, it's actually quite refreshing. The Strokes and Jack Johnson and White Stripes replays just gets incredibly stale.
Yeah, whatever happened to her? Damn, she was such a hottie...

#3, +174. Looks like is this seriosuly heading to #1 now. Are you guys talking about Juliya that used to host that show Uranium? Yes, she also had that show where she would read viewers e-mails/calls and given them advice. I miss when she called the viewers 'b**ches' everytime the show got back from a commercial break.

I miss Juliya. :'( So does my girlfriend, who thinks she's the hottest living female. P.S. Pants-Off Dance-Off can suck it.

Believe it or not, Mudvayne's MySpace has a clip from a newspaper that explains what happened to her.

This is a great great album. Right away I love "Dead!", "Sleep", "Cancer", and "Disenchanted". If "Disenchanted" doesn't become a single at some point, then they're idiots.

Expect this to make a healthy jump on next week's Hot 100, as sales of the single are soaring with the album release.

If "Cancer" gets released as single #2 (which I have a hunch it might), and even if it doesn't, expect MCR to cross over to pop radio bigtime in 2007 a la Fall Out Boy or Green Day.
I don't know how I feel about this. All I know is I love this album and it just feels like Alternative can't keep holding onto them forever. Especially not with an album this good and a lead single this big.
Seriously, I have no idea what my favorite album of the year is going to be: Bleeding Through, Atreyu, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AFI, Lostprophets, and now My Chemical Romance, have all put out stellar albums this year. And those are just the frontrunners.

Bleeding Through, eh? They've been a band that I've noted and thought to maybe check out but I never really thought too hard about it. Are they really that good?
