This is supposed to be the third single from How To Save A Life, but I would imagine they will wait a couple months before thinking about promoting it, or while "How To Save A Life" climbs the Hot AC and Pop charts.
Unlike their first two singles, this really doesn't stand a chance here. Not necessarily because The Fray have now officially crossed over, but it's just not alternative-friendly by any stretch of the imagination. More upbeat, and I guess it kind of reminds me of Keane.

I've been waiting for word on a third single for a while now since I've actually treated 'How To Save A Life' as a single since it was released way back in February so I was definately getting over it by May.

"All At Once" would be a stronger choice, even though that wouldn't be big here either.
"She Is" sounds too much like a more mainstream Switchfoot song.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Given the current state of rock radio, Im surprised How To Save A Life and Over My Head even charted. I dont expect lightning to strike three times though.

This is the song that caught my attention (other than OMH and HTSAL) when I bought the album.

This is the song that caught my attention (other than OMH and HTSAL) when I bought the album. Yeah same for me when I decided to download their album. After one listen, those were really the only three that stuck out to me. The rest of the songs seemed like one long melodic blur, so I ended up not keeping it. Oh well, at least they play a rather decent live show.

I like She Is. Well, their song "how to save a life" will probably climb up again on the charts since the tv series grey's anatomy used the song in their intro video for season 3 premiere. That would probably help.

Count me as one of these guys who thinks it's unfair that every dramatic song can get catapulted into higher popularity just by some appearance on some Johnny-come-lately TV drama. I don't even watch these health shows, because it's just a dead horse that's been beaten so often. I prefer late-night talk shows and sitcom cartoons anyway, and try to stay away from whether Clarissa is cheating on Sam or whether Johnny needs a heart transplant and the doctors need the help of Shinedown, Snow Patrol, and the Fray to actually "save" this person. Gimme a break.
And it's really quite disgusting that pop radio and pop listeners stay so in-tune with which songs are being played on television. Pop radio and television should not go hand-in-hand. They are separate entities, and it's unfair to other artists who choose not to market their songs to dramas or I-Pod commercials. Television does NOT determine good songs, and it shows how fickle pop radio (and the listeners) are these days. Disgusting.

I think it's even more disgusting how radio and charts can be taken over by some random winner of some television contest.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with Chris. At least he was in a band prior and writes his own songs.

I have not heard this song, but I don't think I need to. I don't get THE FRAY. To me, they sound so blah. I don't why this band and BLUE OCTOBER are so popular right now. Whose buying all of these records?

I've listened to this record at least a dozen times at work and I don't get it neither. they're ok but the whole album is lacking something. I don't know what it is... it just seems like the guy needs to find a girl cause he seems so f'n depressed!

I've had this cd since last November, and I didn't really get into it until February or so. It takes time, but I'm glad I gave it another shot because as it turns out I think it's one of the best albums of the decade so far.

Fray isn't quite as good, but still one of the better ones out right now.

It's always about whatever's getting attention right now and not necessarily about quality. I totally agree that a lot of songs are passed over because of that, but I can't really complain, since those have always been the rules of the game. Of course, this song is probably going to end up suffering because it doesn't have that "ethereal" quality that got "How To Save A Life" and "Chasing Cars" all their TV promotion.

Whose buying all of these records? I don't know, why are people buying Bloc Party? I personally think they suck. I love The Fray and Blue October both though and think they are very talented groups that make emotional music. But y'know, I'm okay with people liking Bloc Party. It's not a problem for me. Like assholes, everyone has an opinion, but in reality it's probably more like everyone has an opinion, like assholes, because that's all anyone ever seems to do with theirs.

I got The Fray's CD in January, actually it was the first one I got this year and I didn't listen to it a lot. I don't know why since I love the two singles but I really need to just commit myself to listening to it once because I've heard good things about it from people here and from people in real life. I am finally over the comparison I made of them to Lifehouse earlier in the year. That turned me off of them a bit for a while. LOL
And Blue October. You just need to get over the guy's voice. It's not that bad in most songs. Sometimes, the singer's voice doesn't match the songs. Justin's voice in Blue October sounded off to me the first time I heard 'Hate Me' but now it's awesome. Their entire CD is really good too!

This is a pretty song and was the biggest non-hit audience sing-a-long at their St. Louis show earlier this month.
