ok, I remember when Sum 41 were performing Canada's second national anthem, the song was "How You Remind Me"... I can only imagine what the first Canadian national anthem sounds like.

Just to answer the "originality" question and to rile any Nickelback lovers up... Nickelback are 1 part Pearl Jam, 1 part 3 Doors Down, and 8 parts Nsync!!! Ok, that was a little harsh but you get the idea

If you mix eight parts N'Sync you'd blow up your kitchen.

Wow, I missed about 5,000 opportunities to break into a rant comparing "indie" music (using that term as a concept (!)) and post-grungy metal music and arguing how the latter gets shunned while the previous gets a complete pass, given the same originality. But I'm sure nobody on here wanted to read that.

I don't understand why they didn't go with How Long considering its in the Top 50 currently and I personally think its a much better song. I believe they made a video for it too, so it makes no sense to me. Better Than Me is just another ballad similar to Lips Of An Angel, and I'd rather see one of their harder songs like How Long, Homecoming Queen, or Shoulda being played over and over for the next six months.
On that note after now owning their album, I don't know why these guys get such a bad rap musically. I know as members of a band, they're a bunch of assbags, and while their album isn't anywhere close to amazing, I was quite surprised to realize that its actually might I say worth hearing if you like any of the generic rock out today. Although, lyrically I'm sure most would agree when I say they could do ten times better.

They did. How Long was the third single. This is the fourth single.
