Slated to be the fourth single off of Extreme Behavior...won't be coming out until spring of 2007.
Billboard confirmed it.
They'll start going into the recording stages for their next album in August.

Cool...they picked one of the worst songs on the album (IMO).
Nice going :-\

They should send "By The Way" to pop then.

Is this going to pop too? & isn't it a little too early to worry about this when "How Long" is next. "How Long" isn't going to pop, right? mmm, I sure do ask a lot of questions. But for the song, #1 smash.

This is a really stupid decision...they have almost guaranteed pop success with "By the Way" while "Better than Me" is just as poppy but ten times as crap. Simply retarded single choice.

I like this song as a single. This or By The Way is good enough. The album isn't that good anyways.

I like this song as a single. This or By The Way is good enough. The album isn't that good anyways. I found it amazing. "Get Stoned" & "Rom 21" are just alright but the rest of it is great. "By The Way," "How Long," "There's Nothin' Good 'Bout Goodbye," "Shoulda," "Better Than Me," "Lips Of An Angel," "Bliss (I Don't Wanna Know,)" & "Homecoming Queen" are great!

Can this travesty of a band just go away forever already? Yeesh. What on earth is drawing so many decent, well-thinking people to this music?
I mean, how many unoriginal, uninspiring and unappealing songs can you put out in a row before people stop taking notice?
*looks to pop charts*

*looks to pop charts*Oh.... HA! It's always been that way, though, and it will always be that way. I would still take Hinder any day over a great amount of straight-up pop songs.

I'll agree they sound damn close to a Nickelback clone and make retarded comments about how some talented bands suck, but there's much worse music out there.

What are you guys talking about? "Lips Of An Angel" is a masterpiece.
I seriously love this song now, I can't wait for it to be released.

I won't just jump on the bandwagon because it's convenient to do so. At least rock music is gaining some exposure again among mainstream pop fans or even urbanytes like my cousin. I'm always glad whenever rock music gets mainstream representation. Stop piling on and leave Hinder alone.

American Idiot, I think it's a disservice to even compare Hinder to Nickelback.
Nickelback didn't carbon copy 80s post-hair-rock music and water it down with even worse lyrics and a Michael Bolton-type nasal, whiny voice; it was annoying the first time their music came out, but at least there was really not a whole lot else out there really worthy between new wave and grunge - at this stage, 20 years later, it's just tiresome and sad.
As for Nickelback, while I would usually not defend them, in their defence at least got two other bands launched into success in their home country because of them - Default and Theory of a Deadman - all Hinder has done is slag the scene which has made them popular and tried to put down bands that have more talent in their (insert phallus here) than they will ever possibly possess. I think my biggest personal issue with them is that they try to look all tough and bad, but are so ridden with boy-band looks (like a glossed up Goo Goo Doll) that it just comes off as comical.
Both band's frontmen are garbage though, so your similarity is with some validity.

In all seriousness, and I'm posing this as a real question because I'm interested and always open to others' opinions, how is 'Lips of an Angel' a masterpiece? I personally, and without hyperbole, think that is unequivocally one of the 10 worst songs I have ever heard on mainstream rock radio, and probably the worst of this millennium in the rock format. But I've listened to it a dozen times now and I'm open to your ideas.

My opinion on them soured after I saw them live on the Girls Gone Wild tour. That was well before Lips of an Angel was released as a single. Although it was funny when they were randomly throwing out condoms with Hinder's logo to the crowd If nothing else, they have damn good marketing

American Idiot, I think it's a disservice to even compare Hinder to Nickelback. I was just talking musically, they can be comparable. Nickelback is as original as they become, while Hinder is copying the (insert many band names here). I don't give them anywhere as much credit or even close to what I would give Nickelback when they first started out or now.

Nickelback isn't original. Dude, don't shoot yourself in the foot trying to save face. Just a word of caution.

Nickelback isn't original. Dude, don't shoot yourself in the foot trying to save face. Just a word of caution. EXCUSE ME, but... What are they then, COPY? I think you are the only one who can't see what's happening now, If they are not original why they still selling so many albums, why the won a World Music Award for the Best Selling Rock Group worldwide for 2006, why are they the sixth best selling band from their tour around the world behind names that made history before 2 decades...I don't think those people are stupid or they're not able recognize what is real...
