As long as it doesn't sound like that Sticky Icky hip-hop song from a few years back, I'll be interested in this.

Something tells me this will be a lighter song like Seven Nation Army. I don't see them doing another Blue Orchid.

It's good, but it's not first single material at all.

^ Yeah I agree. I like it, but it sounds like an album track.

I LOVE it, much better then their last first single. This is REALLY strong, more in line with Elephant. Heavy beat/thump is back, which is awesome.

I actually do think it's a good comeback track. It doesn't scream "hit", but it's different and attention-grabbing. The hype will ensure a strong debut, and it'll probably be a grower for a lot of people (including myself), thereby ensuring longevity.

Great guitar riff... it sounds a little like "My Doorbell" though.

Wow, this has to be one of the most crazy sounding songs I've heard in quite some time, but I love it. It sounds like something out of the 70s/80s classic rock era. If that's Meg playing guitar, she certainly learned it damn well.

Enjoying this - Jack sounds great. really like how bands like these and The Black Keys have a 70's feel in their music

The more I hear this, the more I think of Zeppelin. Yes! That's EXACTLY what I was thinking with the kickass guitar work.

If that's Meg playing guitar, she certainly learned it damn well. I was actually joking....I was thinking more about the one note that was being played at the beginning

I'm certainly glad much hype is surrounding this track, despite it not necessarily being radio-friendly.
This is perhaps my favorite single they've released yet, and I think with the iTunes frenzy, there could be some otherwise far from unlikely longevity to this unconventional track, from the multi-dimensional feedback to the idiosyncratic keyboard effects that almost sound like a digitally-enhanced snake charmer's flute song.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Oh Well that's actually that ranks third on the most stupid comments I've made today haha. What were the first two? Well the other two were in person. The first one was something about connecting a digital cable box to the TV and wondering why it wasn't working without actually plugging the cable cord into the wall. I don't remember what the second one was, but maybe I'll remember it later. That just teaches a lesson kids, don't say anything with no sleep the night before, or better yet just don't be me

I have never paid much attention to the White Stripes, and the Raconteurs didn't really grab me, either.
But I love this song, and can't stop playing it. Now, I will have to check out the other stuff.
