I remember in the R&R forum, someone provided a year-to-date link for the Mediabase 24/7 CHR/Pop chart, ie. the chart of the top songs so far this year based on total spins since January (or last December). This chart is updated at the end of each month, adding the total plays for that month.
I remember in August, "When I'm Gone" was #1 and either "In Da Club" or "I'm With You" was #2.
Can someone please give me that link? I want to see if "Bring Me To Life" is in the Top 3....thanx..

Hey, thanks Matt for the info.
Dude, wouldn't it be cool if, by the end of the year, the #1 and #2 songs of the year were "When I'm Gone" and "Bring Me To Life", respectively? I mean, besides the fact that both songs kick ass (and are the best songs this year IMO), it will keep with the CHR/Pop tradition these past few years of having two rock-leaning songs at the top 2 positions of the year-end chart!
Now that's something to think about! :)

Now that "Unwell" has bested Miss Independent in weekly spins, matchbox 20 should be guaranteed a berth in the Top 10 of the year. It's also the highest-ranking non-#1.
It looks like Avril Lavigne will have to settle for #3. That's 2 consecutive years in the year-end Top 3 tho. When was the last time that happened?

"Unwell" will undoubtedly feature in the year-end Top 10 for 2003. That makes the 4th song by MB20 to make a year-end top 10! The others were "3am" (#5 for '98), "Real World (#8 for '98), and "Bent" (#4 for '00). And "If You're Gone" was #6 for 2001 on the Hot 100, though, for some reason, it didn't do as well on the CHR chart. I think "Push" was also in the Top 20 for '97...geez this band has been putting out some major hit music! Regarding your question on Avril, yeah that's quite an achievement, especially considering she's like a new artist and all. The Goo Goo Dolls also had 2 consecutive years in the year-end Top 3. "Iris" was #3 for '98 and "Slide" was #2 for '99. That's going by Rick Dees though. I've heard that according to AT40, "Iris" was #1 for '98 and "Slide" was #2 for '99, making it 2 consecutive years in the year-end Top 2 for the band!

I don't think that's including December spins; if you consider December spins, Avril is still like #3 and Christina is well in the Top 10.
