The song gains have been in the low 200's for the last 2-3 weeks, this is pretty much the way "Unwell" was until it neared the Top 10, so right now it's anyone's guess as to how far this will go, Matchbox Twenty's bullet sizes mean nothing. They're the kind of band that can lose a bullet and regain and make #1, didn't "Bent" do that?

It was gaining really slow, then really fast... and when it dropped off I got worried but now I think it's just that it found its "pace." As Exactly said, its been around +200 for a couple weeks now so I think that's it's stablized gain trend. Top 10 really depends on how fast the songs above it fall, because there's somewhat of a gridlock waiting to enter the Top 10 right now.

Top 10 really depends on how fast the songs above it fall, because there's somewhat of a gridlock waiting to enter the Top 10 right now. At this moment, there is indeed a big gridlock. But I think by mid-November, should matchbox twenty hang in there (I believe they will) they will launch right into the Top 10 when Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Nelly, Maroon 5, Santana, and 3 Doors Down all come tumbling down. I'm also expecting Britney Spears' latest to collapse within the next month. I do think at least one single will leapfrog "Bright Lights" during this time (No Doubt's "It's My Life") but I think there is a great chance for matchbox twenty to get another Top 10 hit here. They have their pace and nothing is thwarting it right now. Sincerely, Noah aton
