I remember I predicted #9 for "More to Life" and a lot of people thought it was crazy! That it would never go past the peak of "Stuck." I felt stupid, now I'm all proud! Hopefully "Get Low" let's her stay in the Top 10 before the final update! Share the Top 10!

Hopefully "More To Life," would follow suit on the Hot AC charts like she is doing at pop. It debuted at that format last week. Yeah, I think it could work at some HAC stations. VERY happy this went Top 10. It's truly a deserving song... I'm starting to love it. I hope the fact that it is now Top 10 encourages PD's to increase its rotation, sending it deeper into the Top 10.

I think More To life will peak at #7 but if the bullet holds for the next couple of weeks I think it can get to #6.

and that stupid MD at z103.5 said "They didn't add Stacie because they don't think it will do well" Um, that doesn't stop you from testing out other songs, you moron. Why don't you test the song out and see how it reacts, if it doesn't react well, then don't add it, but at least you can say you tried, u fcukin retard. hehe sorry and when does the chart freeze, so to speak? Like what is the final chart that gets counted as the whole week? Sunday night? At what time?

I want Willa Ford to leap over Linkin Park by next week and I hope x3 that it goes Top 40. Jessica Simpson is very close to cracking inside the Top 40. I am shocked. I guess I am very happy for Stacie and "More To Life." I hope Lucy Woodward collects a bunch of royalties from it.

Lucy Woodward wrote "(There's Gotta Be) More To Life"?

Yeah, Lucy wrote it! She's very proud of it as she has stated it several times at her fansite LucyWoodward.org . You can also hear Lucy's version of "More To Life" there (it's also included on the b-side of an imported "Dumb Girls" single and it's on her Japanese release of the album). Congrats to Irice22 for predicting correctly! Good for you for standing tall even when no one else is standing.

I wonder if Lucy regrets letting Stacie have that song. I also wonder if it would have been big it all if Lucy had that song.

Congrats to Irice22 for predicting correctly! Good for you for standing tall even when no one else is standing. Sorry Ian but I hope your prediction is WRONG!!!! (I want it to get higher than #9) About Lucy, even though I didn't like her single "Dumb Girls" I always kind of wished she made it, since she is a local artist (well, from NYC) and worked hard at her music for a long time.

I liked "Dumb Girls," alot. It was so shocking when it didn't do that well on pop radio. IMO, it was so deserving of it. However, Z100 gave it pretty good airplay because like you said she is a native! Go NYC! That's cool that she wrote, "More To Life." I also hear "Dumb Girls," frequently whenever I visit the H&M near Madison Square Garden to go shopping for clothes. ;)

Unless Christina plans on getting a +2000 next week, the highest she could jump is 24-19 do to a huge logjam in positions 18-15. And she also can't afford to slow down because there is also another logjam below her.

lol! I'm just happy it did better than "Stuck" which no one expected. But yeah, I'd like it to go as far as possible.

Does anyone think Jessica Simpson could have a hit on her hands, at least top 20?

No, "Get Low" hasn't hit #1 on any R&R chart. It peaked at #3 for a week on Urban and #2 for a total of seven weeks on Rhythmic. The #1 Urban hit you may be thinking of is "Damn!" by Youngbloodz/Lil' Jon which spent two weeks at #1 there. It definitely couldn't have gotten that far without the success of "Get Low" though.
Can anybody think of any songs that have jumped 16 or more spots since mid-2002? I'm not gonna check my full records right now, but if I'm not mistaken, Christina makes the biggest jump since 2000, when we saw 18-spot jumps from "Bye Bye Bye" (35-17), "Oops I Did It Again" (40-22) and "Music" (39-21).

Thank you GordonUM for the correction. I knew I wasn't quite sure about something. I recalled Lil' Jon becoming #1 at some point with some song. Yes you are right, it was with Youngbloodz's "Damn." So that explains my confusion with "Get Low." Thanks again for your help.

Does anyone think Jessica Simpson could have a hit on her hands, at least top 20? You know, I'm not a Jessica Simpson fan, but when I first heard this, I was very impressed. I think it's a top 10 song (not saying it will make it).

Madonna "What It Feels Like For A Girl" jumped 39-23 on AT40, if that counts. I think Pink "You Make Me Sick" jumped 39-22 on AT40. Neither song hit Top 10.

Does anyone think Jessica Simpson could have a hit on her hands, at least top 20? I am confused about Jessica. In my humble opinion "The Sweetest Sin" is a much superior song. But to answer your question yes. It might even crack the top ten.

WOAH! :o Britney just moved up to #11 and her gain is up to +232 now. She's 29 spins behind Stacie. That certainly surprised me. This won't show up on the 11/14/03 chart, right? It'll be on next week's chart....i think...

Not only was "Beautiful" #1 on Pop for four weeks, but it was also #1 on AC for eight weeks, so no, it isn't teen pop. And it's also likely that "Beautiful" will win a Grammy. I think Adult Contemporary could play "(There's Gotta Be) More To Life." It's Number 12 on Christian Adult Contemporary. Stacie is popular enough that I wouldn't be surprised if she has or will win Christian awards.

But yes, I was excited to see that this morning! :)

I hope Britney's gains can continue... if Nelly falls enough, she could make top 10 next week!

I'm not sure if I want "MATM" to make the top 10, but if it peaks at #10, I will have predicted its peak exactly right.

I would assume that she did a few years ago, when "don't look at me" and other songs were around.

Stacie Orrico has never won A Dove award (it's Christian music's Grammys), she was nominated for 6 (i think) back in 2001 but she has never won any. Don't Look AT Me was the no.1 song of the year at Christian CHR in 2000. She's had 4 no.1 songs; Don't Look At Me (Christian CHR), Genuine (Christian CHR), With A Little Faith (Christian AC) and More To Life (Christian CHR).

Mineable, tell Geoguy to email Lucy and ask about 'More To Life'! She must be happy about that! You don't have to email Lucy, just go to LucyWoodward.org and "Ask Lucy" and she'll respond when she has time. I already informed her about "More To Life" going Top 10 and how she must be getting a bunch of royalties but when Lucy replied to me, she didn't say anything about it. :-\
