First of all, why is this song on the recurrent list?? Anyway, it was most added last week and is +248 today. How do you guys think this will do?
I think it will have a "Calling All Angels" chart run, peaking at #22.

I think it'll peak at #34, with a similar run to Evan and Jaron "From My Head To My Heart".

Is this song anything like "The Remedy"? How many copies of his album has he sold?

I think it'll peak at #34, with a similar run to Evan and Jaron "From My Head To My Heart". That was kinda... random. But I doubt it will make the top 30 either. Too bad, because this one is the better song. Waiting For My Rocket to Come has gone gold.

Great CD and a great song! I regret not letting it hit #1 on my chart... it stalled at #2 for a while behind 'Bright Lights'. I suppose it could rise back up....!

This is a flop in my mind.
Considering that "You & I Both" is flopping at Hot AC currently, there is no magnet this single currently possesses that can launch this to "The Remedy" stardom. The video is a bit entertaining, but otherwise there is no muscle.
In the end, I am confidently going to predict that "You & I Both" will get stuck in a similar situation like Gavin DeGraw and Josh Kelley on CHR/Pop, both promising hit-makers that didn't cut it.
If Jason Mraz expects to get one more promising hit off his album at least on Triple A. the obvious choice would be "On Love, In Sadness"
My Prediction: #42
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Well, it is rising on Hot AC but fairly slowly and has issues with the bullet system on Triple A where one week it has one but the other it doesn't yet it never really falls. I think the song is #7 this week?
Why is it recurrent on CHR/Pop Mediabase though? Yeah, it was originally released approximately 21 weeks ago but that was to Triple A, not pop. Speaking of which, how many weeks has it been on the AAA chart? It's been on my chart for 21 weeks as of this week and I only charted it when it was official that it was the next single. I expect to hear a third release announcement any week now. I'm HOPING that it's 'On Love, In Sadness' but I'm thinking it'll probably be 'Curbside Prophet'.

It's recurrent because stations had picked it up soon after "The Remedy" reached like the Top 40, and they moved it to recurrent on that day when they made like 50 songs recurrent back in August, Maroon's 5 "This Love" also went with it, does mediabase really have any clue to what singles or released?

The week that just ended marked Jason's 20th week on the Triple A chart. Wow! It's hard to believe that the song has been out that long! And on the Triple A chart for that long! What was the chart run? It still has a bullet off and on. The run was probably something like: 21-20-19-15-14-11-10-11-10-9-8-9-9-8-10-9-7-7-8-7 or something. LOL

This is a good song, but it just isn't right for pop radio, even radio for that matter. I'm sure he had better songs on his record to release, but I hope it can do well. As of now I predict #35.

Just wanted to say that the 3rd single is "Curbside Prophet' and that will be it. The video will be a live performance from a DVD he'll be releasing and in January he'll start working on a new album.

I like this song a lot, but it's not very radio friendly. I'll predict #27.

:( I was really hoping "On Love, In Sadness" would be the third single.

:( I was really hoping "On Love, In Sadness" would be the third single. I second that. Much of his older audience is not going to take him seriously releasing "Curbside Prophet" especially with lyrics like "Elsa the dog..." and: "my ghetto hat's cocked right the ladies say, "yo, that kid is crazy" the backstage betties taking more than they can get they say, "what's up with m-r-a-z?"As much as its just tongue-and-cheek, many won't buy it I feel. This is a clumsy single choice in my opinion. "On Love, In Sadness" would be the logical choice. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

This song is really really good. I like it. His voice sounds great, and the way the songs builds up every chorus is just excellent.
You & I Both is a much better song than The Remedy. And if that song could reach top 10, I don't see why this one can't reach top 20.
My prediction- no. 15.
Excellent song.

While it's hard to consider this a pop-friendly song, it's off to a promising start. It's gaining almost 300 spins and it would be #70 if it was on the current chart. I'll say it'll peak around #25-28.
The song's success on other charts is kind of weird though. On Triple A it reached its highest position (#6) this week after 20 weeks on the chart and with no one gaining above him he might actually be able to clip #1 there very soon. As far as Hot AC goes, I have no idea why it's flopping so horribly there but with a couple songs going recurrent soon it might be able to hit the top 20.

I don't think he seems like an artist taken real seriously anyway and I expected 'Curbside Prophet' to be released at some point since that seems like the type of song his fans would like, it seems like a signature song type. I'm disappointed that that will be it though. And a DVD already? Wow!

Why exactly is everyone saying this isn't pop friendly? It certainly not any less pop friendly than "The Remedy" and I'd say it's even more. For one, he sings slow enough so that you can actually sing along well, and the entire song -- especially the hook -- is extremely catchy. I say he's got another Top 10. (Though this should be the first. It was just a fluke that "The Remedy" made Top 10. And I don't think this song can be considered a "flop" on Hot AC just yet.)

I think "The Remedy" was way more pop friendly than "You and I Both." It was catchy, fun, fast, it just really fit well. "You and I Both" kind of sounds like an Irish tune and the chorus is pretty bland for pop radio.

What do we know? Didn't Drift Away reach Top 10??
I think this is an instant favorite. The chorus just sticks in your head really easily. I think this could also be a Your Body Is Wonderland part 2, although much better, of course.

I am glad that "You & I Both" seems to be doing well early. In early I mean now that is officially his follow up. I think this song could be another sleeper hit. I am very impressed with the material I have heard so far.
