It was just so quite surprising to me to see Stagga Lee's second attempt at pop with his collaboration effort with M.V.P. (Most Valuable Playas), suffer with the hit "Rock Ya Body (Mic Check 1,2)."
I personally thought the track was rather outstanding. I could've sworn that it would have been a monstrous pop hit. In fact, it's a very popular track at my local pop station, Z100. I personally couldn't see why would the song flop. Maybe it's just me, since I tend to like everything. My sister disagrees with me, she thinks the song is rather corny. LOL.
I'm curious to know what you guys think about this.

I thought this should've made the top 40 instead of the annoying "Roll Wit' M.V.P."

I agree, I think the song is really hot, much better than "Roll Wit MVP".
So, the MVP he is referring to in the title of that song is this same group who sings "Roc Ya Body"?
I'm surprised Roc Ya Body didn't do very well, it really is a hot song.
Where did Roll Wit MVP peak?

This one is just as bad and annoying as the previous song.

This song is so bad and so annoying, I can't believe someone would even record this.
Well, maybe the Baha Men would have made sense...

I like this song much more than "Roll Wit' MVP". The video is the best part for this song, however.

I don't see what is special about the video, it seems like a normal clichΓ© rap video to me.

"Rock Ya Body" is catchy, and (IMO) better then like 90% of all rap tunes out on the pop chart right now! it should have done well (at least top 20)

Maybe stations were afraid to play it with 'Rock Your Body'?
