Anyone have the full numbers?
Pink was Most Added with roughly 40 adds. I think Jay-Z was second most added. Sheryl got something like 20 adds and Blink 182 pulled in around 15. Don't know the exact numbers.... just going by Mainstream section of Hitmakers.

Good to know radio hasn't completely guven up on P!nk! "God Is a DJ" deserves a fair chance, it's much better than "Trouble."

Wow, Hitmakers recap thing was kind of misleading then.
I knew BNL would flop, but only 3 adds?! I would have thought they'd get at least 15 or so... the song does have pop-appeal.
Blink got 11 adds pre-impact. Good for them. When do they go for adds?
19 is a good sign for Sheryl. This is the kind of song that'll pull in stations little by little every week, but 19 new stations will give it a nice boost.

I, too, am disappointed with BNL. It's the kind of fun, catchy song that deserves better. I hoped it would be the next "One Week" or "Pinch Me". Guess that was hoping for too much.

Interesting that the BNL got more (pre-imapct) adds last week than this week. I'm also glad to see Evanescence get 22 more adds.

How many stations total does this make for Sheryl? I count 34 pre-impact adds for Sheryl, bringing her total up to 53 stations to date. Not too shabby. |

I think people are more interested in the song than the situation. And for There's Gotta Be More to Life, I think this song is really overacheiving. Not saying that's a bad thing. As far as I'm concerned, the BNL song is already finished on all formats where it was released. They waited WAY too long to release it at pop. May as well work on single #2 from the CD.

I like the BNL song a lot, but I can see how it wouldn't be a great fit for American pop radio. Nice to see Sheryl Crow have a good impact week, after getting all of those pre-impat adds. Hopefully, this'll push her into the top 50 by Sunday.
I'm glad that Pink got a fair amount of adds - I haven't heard "God Is A DJ" yet, but I'm looking forward to getting to hear it. I've liked everything she's put out so far, and it's too bad that her last couple of singles didn't go top 5.
