I could be wrong, but I don't think "Someday" hit #1 here in Canada

and Chingy did not create the Chicken Head dance, that is a popular St. Louis regional dance and has been around for years (it was also featured in St. Lunatics member Ali's solo video for "Breathe In, Breathe Out", and the lyrics go, "Breathe In, Breathe Out, do the chicken-head, go on let it out"

oh and the dance they do in "Right Thurr" and "Shake Ya Taifleather" is also called the "Mono", short for "The Monestary", but I dont know if the 'Chickenhead' and the 'Mono' are one in the same, or how greatly they differ

Finally, how many spots did TVW jump this week?

yea but maybe they just wanted to let the audience in on that, because maybe alot of listeners wouldn't think the "Dirrty" Christina would do something like that

I think he meant the single sales chart, since that seems to be the "official" chart everyone uses, including Billboard.

Did Casey mention all of those #1s during the "#1s on the other charts" segment? He used to only do three but when I listened a few weeks ago, he did three plus the #1 album. I was assume he did that and then the remaining ones he just introduced when he introduced songs or something.

No, I believe Casey only mentioned 3 #1s on the other charts plus the album chart. #1 Rock was mentioned going into Staind and #1 Urban was mentioned coming out of Ludacris.

Since Casey Kasem mentioned "Bad Medicine" as number one song fifteen years ago this week, that means he goes by AT40 probably until either the first of 1989 or January 21 when "Casey's Top 40" debuted, because "Bad Medicine" never hit the top of the R&R chart. We'll have to see if he mentions the number one song "this week" in 1989 the week that "My Prerogative", another #1 miss on R&R, topped AT40.

What would be the next "miss" after that? "Wind Beneath My Wings"? I was kind of surprised when Bette didn't hit #1 on CT40. R&R tended to lean more toward the AC/sappy stuff at the time.

I believe that would be the next miss. Yeah, I'm surprised that it didn't hit number one, but more, that it only ranked something like #37 on the year end survey. I mean, it climbed all the way to number three and spent fourteen weeks on the chart. It seems it should have gotten a higher ranking. Oh well, that's the breaks.
