Clicked on the MB link in another thread and noticed that Iz U has dropped 28 spins. Could it be that radio isn't giving this one much of chance despite it being a sure shot on Dees' show a few weeks back?

simply put... "Iz U" is terrible, easily one of the worst singles ever released by Nelly (pretty close with the infomercial "Air Force Ones").

Actually, I think this song is much better than "Hot in Herre," "Pimp Juice," and especially "Air Force Ones." It's really upbeat and fast, I don't really understand why it flopped.

This song samples the People's Court, right? If so, I heard it for the first time this weekend. I actually thought it was better than all of the Nellyville singles on first listen. I'm shocked it's not in the top 50 though.

Okay, two things...
1) Am I the one person that actually quite liked "Air Force Ones"? I mean it wasn't a favorite song of mine or even close, but I at least enjoyed listening to it...
2) "Iz U" is horrible...And I'm pretty tolerable of just about any song, but this one, it pains me to say, is simply terrible...There is some novelty with the sample of "People's Court" in there, but that wears off pretty quickly and you're left with a silly waste of a song...

Very well put. I agree with you on both statements. I found nothing terrible about "Air Force Ones" but "Iz U" is the worst piece of crap he has released yet. The first time I heard it I knew it was gonna flop.

I like this. At least it's not bad as "Pimp Juice".

Why it's flopping - the song sucks. Period.
Honestly, there hasn't been one Nelly single that I've liked since "Batter Up," the last single from 'Country Grammar.' "#1" and "Hot In Herre" were bearable for a few weeks before getting old and annoying. And the less said about all the other singles he's released since, the better.

Agreed on both points. 'Air Force Ones' was NOT that bad. Even 'Pimp Juice' was alright. 'Iz U' is bad. I rated it a 3/10 on my website.
I say they should have put a remix to 'Luven Me' on the album and released that. That's by far his best song!

I am so surprised people think this song is worse than "Air Force Ones" and "Pimp Juice." "Iz U" is just catchier, more unique han a lot of rap songs out right now. Also, the video restrains from the clichΓ© of normal rap videos as well.

I thought "Iz U" was better than "Pimp Juice", but I preferred "Air Force Ones" to "Iz U". I felt it would be a fairly big hit since it's catchy like most of his songs, and radio-friendly.
