I never expected TVW to do this well, I was worried about it making Top 20 when I heard it would be the fifth single.. once I saw how it took off, I set my hopes higher that it could maybe match or beat Dirrty's peak.. now that it has, I think it maaay be able to just make Top 10 before it starts to fall.. just when I think it's about to be on its way down, it picks up again, so we'll see.. but if it dropped out of sight today, I'd be more than happy for the run it had ditto. with it going top 10 in the UK, and doing so well here, i think it can be regarded as another success for Stripped.  i wonder if they'll release a sixth single around the time of the Grammys/Brit Awards. |

My chart is a top ten Chart! LOL! A song that peaked at #10 on a top ten chart if a flop, a song that peaked at #10 on a top 50 chart is a hit. So if R&R's charts were all 10 positions, you'd be calling "Dirrty" a flop even though it still had the exact same number of spins throughout its chart run? |

I have a Top 50 chart and I consider anything that hits the chart to be a hit. A flop is something that doesn't do well. I think being one of your Top 10 songs should be considered a success. |

No the difference with me is that i can't STAND to like more than 10 songs at a time, that's why i only have a top ten. Anything not on it i hate, and anything in it i either like a little or love it. I know peaking at #7 or #6 isn't bad, but another thing is longevity.
Pink having her 1st single not even crack my top 40 year end chart is a flop in my opinion, and the same thing with J.lo. I never used to do year end charts before 2002 but Pink's "Get The Party Started" (which i counted towards 2001) would have been in my top 5 on my year end chart. Now compare Trouble to this and what you have is a flop on my chart.

Christina should be thankful for payolla because that's the only way this horrible trash was able to get as far as it did.

I'm gonna predict that TVW will have second wind, because... 1. J said it was a flop, and we all know whenever he says something like this the total opposite happens (look at Fighter and CHUD as examples) I consider this harrassment. |

Anyways back to the topic. XXX-Tina the XXX-pop star about to turn PORN star's The Voice Within was a horrible ballad that deserved to do much worse but because of the large sums paid by the record company to the radio stations it was able to FLOP inside the top 20.

I actually see where radiosucks is coming from in terms of his personal chart, although I do think it's strange that he would hate every song outside of his Top 10.. but I know I wouldn't consider a song that doesn't go Top 5 on my Top 20 chart to be that big of a hit. I usually won't even chart a song that I don't think has Top 10 potential, so Top 10 is pretty much expected for any song that makes it on, but Top 5 would be what I consider the big hits. Songs that don't make even Top 10 are rare and I would consider performing well below average. So it's all just relative. But I of course still like songs that don't make my chart, it just means I don't care enough about them to buy or download. |

Alright apparently we can't discuss Christina without arguing.
"The Voice Within" is not over. It has a bullet of +115. These individual Christina topics seem to cause problems. If you want to report on the bullet and movement, do it in the CHR/Pop topic because this is the second or third topic for this song that has turned into a personal argument.
