I hope I'm not stepping out of line by asking this, but are members banned (or demoted to "Guest" status) if they've gone a certain period of time without posting anything? I noticed a few signs pointing to this just today as I was looking through old topics.

Members with no posts or one post were deleted. You'll also notice a lot of guests because certain banned members can't stay away.

Members with no posts or one post were deleted. Why? What if the person who posted once came back the next day to post again and find their account is deleted? They're just slower posters.

They're free to re-register. The odds that they will are pretty slim though since it could take them a while to realize that they were deleted from the system by their friendly temporary administrator.
