I'm not surprised. Bad press does very well over there. Kylie debuted at #6? Her album is not doing that well.

Dido and Christina seem to be sticking around really well. What have both of their albums sold in the Uk? I think they are both around 1 million sold.

Christina, Justin and Delta still doing well...look for these three to sell briskly through Christmas. BTW, Dido and Christina are on about 1.2 million. Expect Dido to easily sell 2+ million!
Pretty disappointing debuts for Britney and Kylie.
Good to see Sheryl Crow's Best Of doing exceptionally well...this and REM's Best Of will continue to sell well through Christmas...pretty much perfect gifts.

Another ouch. :'( During midweeks, "Body Language" was at #4. So disappointing to see it at #6. Expect the album to fall out of the top 10 next week. What a blow! ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Has Britney promoted her album at all in the UK, or anywhere internationally for that matter? Just wondering since it seems like she's been everywhere here in the U.S. the past couple of weeks, I wouldn't think she's had a chance to visit many other countries.

Britney did some usual promotions; CD:UK and Top Of The Pop and some interview shows. Early November she stopped all her European promo, because she was sick.

I am truly shocked that MJ debuted at # 1. WTF is up with that? Plus Kylie and Britney debuting so low. I really expected "Body Language" to debut in the top 3 if not #1. I wouldn't be proud of this weeks album chart if I were in the UK.

Are those real? Cause Kylie's "Fever" sold 140,000 copies in its first week. In comparison, "Body Language" sold 69,900 copies.

I don't think MJ album is #1 because of "bad press". The people who bought it were probably gonna anyways - I can't see people hearing these allegations about him molesting children and then thinking 'I'll go buy the album now'. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Maybe people in the UK can separate the singer from the great music. Has Britney promoted her album at all in the UK, or anywhere internationally for that matter? Just wondering since it seems like she's been everywhere here in the U.S. the past couple of weeks, I wouldn't think she's had a chance to visit many other countries. Yes, she'd done ample amount of promotion here in the UK. She was on CD:UK, SM:TV, TOTP, Graham Norton Show, her own CD:UK special etc. I can't remember seeing her on any magazine covers but I'm sure she was. There's no excuse for her album debuting that low, other than there were a lot of big new releases. But really that just shows that she can't compete with the likes of Busted, Kylie, RHCP, Beatles, MJ etc in the UK.

Does anyone have the latest UK airplay chart?
I am interested in seeing if Sugababes "Too Lost In You" is doing anything.
