Prediction: NOT GOOD!
Probally peak around #50 or so unless radio actually plays it. Madonna just doesnt have that "umf" anymore.

I don't think it's being released in the U.S.

Hmm. You'd think with the TV ad, she WOULD release it. Well, IF it is released, it should only do marginally better than Nothing Fails.

While it probably won't do much, it'll have a way bigger impact than Nothing Fails, or even Hollywood. The song is very Madonna, so I think it'll at least get a nice amount of airtime on the video channels.

I like this song but I wonder where it is gonna be released and everything?
Nothing Fails was never released in the UK so it has been such a gap since the last AL single that you would think that she is finished now and won't release anything elese. If she does release it in the UK then I don't think it will generate any interest.
It has got promotion from the advert though so it could do ok and I think that is the main reason it is being released because it will already have some promotion therefore it will be recognised.

The Headcleanr Rock Mix on the remix album beefs it up quite a bit and I like it a lot more now.

This album has been dead for how long now?
How do you get milk from a dried up cow
Unless there's a LOT of money backing this one, expect another flop.

AHHHH!!!
I've just seen it on a UK music channel!!!
AND....
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's obviously a quick and easy video that refelcts the advert. Record bosses must've thought "Hey, the advert is generating a bit of interest" "Yeah, lets bang out another video to try and give AmericanLife another push"
But I don't care because I think it is great!

Isn't it a single? I saw the single in a store just a few hours ago. I'm not sure if there's agreement in what does or doesn't belong in format topics. I thought if it fit a format, it was alright, not if it was a single?

It's a b-side to the "Nothing Fails" maxi-single.

I'm almost positive that it was 'Love Profusion' but I'll go and double check tomorrow anyways. It was $10.99.

Actually, it's a double A-side single.

This is the best song on the CD. I thought it should've been released before "Hollywood" because it has a summer sound to it.

*quote from Rebirth from CHR/Pop Forum* ...and I'm closing it again. I've moved "Love Profusion" topics out of this forum already. If it's not a single, the topic does not belong here. Isn't it a single? I saw the single in a store just a few hours ago. I'm not sure if there's agreement in what does or doesn't belong in format topics. I thought if it fit a format, it was alright, not if it was a single? Maybe it's not a single in America but it is in the UK. By having all these forums for threads to go in you are making this site a US site only. I don't think that is the right way to go. The majority of people may be from America but you are alienating people from other countries by moving threads about music in their charts to forums where hardly anyone replies. How can people learn about how there favourite artist is doing in other countries when the threads are banished to forums where about 5 people visit!!! And Mr Rebirth Experience...When did you become God?

I do agree with ashley. In the dance forum, there's a topic about Deborah Cox' entire album, which is a dance remixes album. That makes perfect sense but it doesn't correlate with the pop forum. I think if a topic is made about a song and that songs fits the format of the topic, whether it's released or rumoured to be released then it should stay there. Otherwise, the same rules should apply for all formats. If I start a topic on a song that I think is a pop song but isn't an American pop single in the CHR/Pop folder, I did it for a reason because the song is a pop song. It doesn't magically turn into a pop song the second it gets released.
Anyways, my purpose for coming here:
Madonna's song is being used in a perfume commercial, I think it is. It sounded alright. I'll take a listen at some point.
