At first I was going to base this on votes, but then that wouldn't be fair, because song recently released would have huge advantage (such as OutKast would be in the Top 10). I was considering factoring in votes with airplay, but then I couldn't think of a fair way to do it. In the end, I just took the airplay from November 24, 2002 to November 23, 2003 (similar to R&R chart-year) to make this list. Recurrents have been taken out. The show was aired yesterday at noon and will be repeated today.

There were three ties, so there was a 1/4 chance that they would have all turned out the same order (alphabetical ascending). It's not likely, but not too unlikely either.

The probability is 1/4 that all 3 would be sorted by artist name - ascending, and 1/4 for artist name - descending. I was just saying that the probability was 1/4 that all three would be sorted the same way (either method).

Not at all! It would be highly inaccurate if they did. They take into account the gain and the reporters and all that fun stuff! Then they probably add in audience and stuff if it gets really complicated!
