Sticky please :)
I think it's time for this week's topic to come up. ;)
So far, assuming neither Liz Phair nor Maroon 5 re-enters Top 20- Top 30 debuts: [Published chart:] Beyonce (33-27), Good Charlotte (34-28), Evanescence (36-29) [Including unpublished weeks, Beyonce's already in Top 30] Top 40 debuts: [Published chart:] JC Chasez (42-35), Mary J. Blige/Eve (36), Mya (37), Limp Bizkit (44-38), Alicia Keys (50-39) [Including unpublished weeks, the first two are already in Top 40] Top 50 Debuts: [Published chart:] Mary J. Blige/Eve, Mya, Jagged Edge (42), Nick Cannon/R. Kelly (43), Britney Spears (45), Ruben Studdard (47), Sarah McLachlan (48), Widelife (49); would Kelly Clarkson be a re-entry? [Including unpublished weeks, only Britney, Sarah, & Widelife are debuts, and Kelly would be a re-entry]

Kelly Clarkson was still #46 on the last published chart, so it wouldn't be a re-entry.

On Sunday night, will Mediabase reset the LW spin numbers to those from 3 weeks ago?

I would assume so, since they did last year.

What the hell is Widelife? Dance act that has the theme song to the show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy".

It's about time Sarah made the Top 50, I've been waiting for over a month! I wouldn't be surprised if she takes the same path as Liz Phair or Jason Mraz, very slow riser with longetivity.

Yup, that episode (painful for some, enlightening for me) was when I learnt how to spell the word correctly for the first time.

What are we talking about?

What are we talking about? There was a topic on the R&R boards entitled "Longetivity records", and someone corrected the spelling. The quotes in here are taken from that topic.

Is Mediabase ever going to replace the "2002 Year End Charts" icon with ones from 2003? Last year, they got that done by late New Years Day.

If I'm not mistaken, the spin totals haven't changed since yesterday.

Actually, when I downloaded the charts, all that appeared in my address bar was www1.allaccess.com/No year or anything. However, as jae stated, the spin totals haven't changed since yesterday and the Year-To-Date charts for 2004 still show the Top 50 songs of 2003 as of December 28, so maybe as soon as things change, the 2003 list will be put up.

So Liz Phair goes recurrent from #13, just two (?) charts after she peaked.

Yep... it was close though, as she ends up just 10 spins behind Staind for #20.

And most of us should remember the last recurrent from #13...two years ago this week. (Or has there been another between then and now?)
Judging by what Matt said, I'm guessing that means this week is Week 20 for "Low". (I'm also guessing that it will pull an Ataris and leave the Top 50 naturally so Mediabase doesn't remove it ;))

Yeah, "Only Time" by Enya, a song that was dog-paddling on the charts until 9/11 and then it flew up. It sure burned out fast (though on the A/C chart, it stuck around forever).

Why did "Me Against The Music" gain 112 spins? Must be all that great "publicity" she received for her weekend idiocy.

Why did "Me Against The Music" gain 112 spins? My guess is she was on a lot of year-end charts, I bet she goes back down soon.
