Uhhh....why isn't hitmakers updated AGAIN this week? I thought they said they were going to be back in full this week!

Hitmakers still haven't updated their Adds page. But here's what I was able to get from the Mainstream Top 40 page. It's far from complete (i.e. the actual totals are probably bigger numbers than these), but it's a start:

If the adds page ever gets updated, this list will certainly change. Also of note, the bottom of the Mainstream Top 40 page makes mention of big changes coming to the web site next week. This could account for the lack of a proper update.

My station made the best adds this week: "Toxic," "Eight World Wonder," and "Come Clean." Well, they're not the best, but the best I'm sure they had in a long time.

My station Z100 FINALLY added My Immortal, they added Toxic last week and it doesn't look like they're adding anything else for right now.

I'm really liking 'This Love' now too! It's great! I can see this song breaking them into CHR/Pop even further. 'Harder To Breathe' was a hit that didn't break the band into mainstream, just the song, but I think this song could break Maroon 5 in!
And 'Everything' (fefe) has the potential to be big, I thinks.

I'm not sure if pop will catch on to this song much as a whole. I think they added because of the pervious Top 5 hit, but something tells me they might pull a Calling. Maroon5 has a lot more talent than The Calling (awful). I think this song will do really well. Whether Maroon5 can have a career is a different story. And what other 70's or 80s song does their new single sound just like. I can't think of the song. Anyone know? |

 Great for Maroon 5! I am glad they are garnering more and more fans! Wow, I wonder if Kim Locke will actually have a hit or if this will be it for adds??? She needs to start doing promo right now.

WXKS added Maroon 5 and Britney Spears!!!! This is GREAT news! I heard "This Love" at around 6:00 today, and "Toxic" was #3 yesterday and #7 today on the Top 7 @ 7. "Toxic" already gets 28 spins a week.
And they already have Switchfoot, Alicia Keys, Hilary Duff......god bless them for making the BEST adds decisions
They haven't even added Pink, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, or Mya........which is completely fine with me.

Nice to see Britney pulling some more in and look at Hilary Duff!! I could definitely see "Come Clean" peak higher than "So Yesterday."
And I really like the Maroon 5 song, didn't like "Harder To Breathe" at all, so this is a surprise.

I'm actually pretty happy about this week. Everyone got what they deserved. Britney scored again, Maroon 5's great song is doing well and so it Hilary. I'm very happy with these adds this week!!
