Wow, look at Nickelback! They aren't that far behind The Way You Move. Next week, could The Way You Move falter a little bit to allow Nickelback into #2? :o I certainly didn't see that one coming...
Ouch for Dido! :( That song was making so much promise and now it looks like it may be done very soon. Oh well, it sure outpeaked my expections! :)
Lil' Jon will go recurrent this week! :) And yikes on Clay! :( That song is dropping like a rock. Oh well... it was good while it lasted.
Good to see Switchfoot maintaining steady gains in the top 50! I think this song may take off in a few weeks... it seems like a slow builder. And ouch for Ruben Studdard! Despite going top 10 on Urban, the song is really struggling on pop and looks like it could fall out of the top 50 either next week or the week after if it doesn't start picking up.

There seem to have been a few changes since I started this thread. With the final update only a couple updates away, let's see what we've got: The gap between TWYM and "Someday" has closed significantly. Looks like OutKast will have some competition. My prediciton from Thursday changes. Santana will hold on and Lil' Jon will go recurrent (I'm sure many of you are absolutely thrilled. Lil' Jon hasn't been a board favorite). Great to see Evanescence and Dido in the top 20 . Only 2 top 30 debuts ("Toxic" and "Wat Da Hook Gon Be" ) and 1 top 40 debut ("Slow Jamz" ). Hilary Duff and Sarah Connor will be the only Top 50 debuts (with Lil' Jon and Britney Spears/Madonna falling off). Looks like the top 10 N&A will be: 01 Usher feat. Lil' Jon & Ludacris "Yeah" 02 Black Eyed Peas "Hey Mama" 03 Ying Yang Twins "Salt Shaker" 04 Kimberley Locke "8th World Wonder" 05 Kid Rock "Cold And Empty" 06 Train "When I Look To The Sky" 07 Dave Matthews "Save Me" 08 Baby Bash "Shorty Doowop" 09 Kanye West "Through The Wire" 10 Cassidy feat. R. Kelly "Hotel"

Maroon 5 should actually be #4 N&A, with everything else getting pushed down 1. Also, some of those songs near the bottom might not be listed if they haven't been officially added to at least 10% of the panel(which at least a couple of them hadn't been as of last week).
Where the heck did that Usher song come from all of a sudden? I haven't even heard it.
Was Limp Bizkit played on some syndicated show? They were at about 950 with almost a -100 spin loss just a few days ago and now they're over 1050 again with a bullet.
Kiley Dean lost 7 spins from yesterday. :(
I'm mad that "Change Clothes" is losing spins below the top 30 while his piece of s**t "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" wasted no time going right to the top 10.
It's about time Staind lost their bullet. That song has been on the chart for five months now.
Looks like "The Voice Within" will get stuck outside the top 10. Why couldn't one of her previous two singles miss the top 10 instead? This one's actually decent.
Songs that appear to have been hurt by the year-end break:
"Sorry 2004"- was just outside the top 50 gaining almost +400 before Christmas, now it's at #48 with a single-digit bullet. "Milkshake"- it looked like it would easily go top 3 before, now it will have a hard time getting higher than #6. "Not Today"- charged into the top 50 with a +600 bullet before Christmas, not it's not gaining much at all.
And then we have songs like "My Immortal" that appear to have benefited.
How the heck is that Nick Cannon song already top 40 before the adds date? It's not like it's doing that well at Urban and Rhythmic.

Don't forget about Maroon5 who should be pretty close to the top 40 next week.

The surprise is the crossover "Get Low" going recurrent on CHR-Pop before CHR-Rhythmic (where it's still in the Top 20). No Doubt should pass 3 Doors Down this week or next week to get Number 5. If No Doubt can't make up 39 spins on the final update, it will have its peak position next week while probably being bulletless because it's +84. Nothing is threatening to pass No Doubt this week or next week.

Btw, when do most radio stations play the AT40? It's usually when the songs in the Top 40 gain double the amount of spins they're supposed to...has that been shown in the last update?

The station here plays AT40 Sunday mornings from 8-12, but I think more stations air it on Saturdays.

FINALLY!! "Sunday's" final update happens at 12:02 Monday morning. Close enough, I guess. Lil' Jon's gone. I was hoping to see "This Love" moved to current, but I guess we'll have to wait on that one.
Time for bed...

Will this be the week that TWYM overtakes Hey Ya! for #1 on the Billboard Hot 100? Only 1 million separates them in audience impression, but I haven't factored in Hot AC or Alternative, for Hey Ya!

The Way You Move gets points from singles sales, although Hey Ya! is #1 on Hot Digital Tracks for over 11 weeks, I think. It'll probably take a few more weeks.

Today's update was exciting! (I'm so happy that after about 1 1/2 months, the chart is finally back to normal.) Some main points: -"The Way You Move" broke 8000 spins, so now both their songs at above 8000. What an accomplishment!(Please don't get into the argument that they are separate artists, there are plenty of forums about that already.) -Kelis lost her bullet! The "Milkshake" fad is over. A trendy song like that shouldn't be released near the holidays. -Jessica Simpson is up to #9 with a bullet of +754 (more than yesterday) -Evanescence is up to #16 with a VERY healthy bullet (+649) and this week hit #1 on Kiss 108's Top 30 Countdown after "Hey Ya!" stayed for 6 weeks. -Britney Spears is up to #18 today. "Toxic's" bullet rose by about 100 from yesterday (from the 1200s to +1381.) Top 10 baby! ;) ;) -Fuel, Sheryl Crow, and Kelly Clarkson, are still holding on! :) -Limp Bizkit has been revived. He was down to about +8 awhile ago and now he's back up to +189! -Ruben Studdard regains bullet (even though I've never heard this song.)

The charts are startin to look much better now. I just want Outkast our of the top two positions! I'm also happy to see Eamon slowing down, too bad the song made it this far.

I think this is another case of major markets jumping on a song much earlier than smaller markets, causing a song not to do as well. "Milkshake" was already Top 10 even before the holidays in the Top 25 markets and has started losing spins a while ago. Same thing happened with Lumidee's "Never Leave You - Uh Ooh, Uh Oooh!"

Limp Bizkit has been revived. He was down to about +8 awhile ago and now he's back up to +189! The song was actually at -83 less than a week ago. Somehow the song went from losing spins to gaining 50 spins a day all of a sudden. Why the hell do Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff have huge bullets while Kiley Dean is hovering around #40 with a +10? I don't think Ruben Studdard is done just yet. I just can't see it tumbling off the pop chart while it still has a pretty big bullet in the top 10 at urban. Nice to see that "You And I Both" has gained back 75 spins since the final update Sunday night. Mary J. Blige sure collapsed quickly. "Someday" is really getting overplayed now. I wish it would lose its bullet already. I hope "So Far Away" falls below #20 this week so it'll be gone from the chart. That song has been overplayed even more than "Someday".

Looking at the audience figures, I'm inclined to agree. Kelis managed to peak much higher than Lumidee though. Just below Kelis, Jessica Simpson currently has a much higher audience than her despite having 900 spins less.

How is Jason Mraz doing? Last I remember he fell 40-41 with a bullet and then he lost his bullet but I assured Bryan (who was the messenger) that he'd get his bullet back and now he's +75.
