Not to mention that the commercial release is listed as a track titled "Beautiful". Do any other websites have "Beautiful" listed as a single besides the Australian website?

No other sites have any single listed, atleast the American ones don't. Hopefully they announce something soon because otherwise the radio stations are going to go on playing LMFALW. Here they are playing it on the hour every hour.

THis song is career ending. it is SO not.. the song is hot... i can see a bunch of people already saying that at first they hated it, and they've grown to liking it... maybe because they all thought it would be in style of "All For You" (which i happened to never like) and were dissapointed when it sounded nothing like it. I happen to really like it, and i think it will go top 10, maybe not #1, but it'll do fairly well

This song isn't spectacular or anything but after one listen this is probably my favorite since "Runaway".
I'll say mid-teens, because I kind of like it.

I am going to have to say #5 at pop. I heard it on the radio and I fell in love with the bass line. It has much more bass on the radio than on the Mp3 for some reason.
#5 Pop #9 Hot 100

Hot Off an Incredible Superbowl Performance New Janet Jackson Song 'Just a Little While' Spreads Like Wildfire Sunday February 1, 9:01 pm ET Overwhelming Worldwide Demand Prompts Virgin to Immediate Digital Delivery Of Song to Radio Stations Throughout the World Hotly Anticipated New Album, DAMITA JO, Will Be Released March 30th
NEW YORK, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- "Just A Little While," a new song from the highly anticipated upcoming Janet Jackson album DAMITA JO, has created a firestorm of interest, starting in the U.S. and quickly spreading throughout the world. Although not officially chosen by the record company as the first single, the unauthorized Internet download of the track has created hysteria, from radio programmers to consumers to Janet's rabid fans. Due to the overwhelming demand and downloading of the single, the infectious song, co- written and produced by proven hitmaker Dallas Austin, will be digitally distributed to radio stations all over the world Monday February 2nd at 7 AM EST. The song's release comes on the heels of Janet's triumphant return to the spotlight with her performance as the featured artist at today's Super Bowl XXXVIII, where she headlined the spectacular halftime show.
DAMITA JO finds Janet once again working with the hitmaking production team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who have produced every one of her albums since the 1986 breakthrough, Control. The new album also features writer/producers Austin (known for hits with Boyz II Men, Madonna, TLC, and many others); Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds (Toni Braxton, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton); Rich Harrison (whose credits include Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" and Amerie); and hot newcomer Kanye West. DAMITA JO will be released on March 30th.

I thought they're going to push something else to radio though?
Anyway, it will be big at Pop, and maybe top 40 rhythmic. but it will get almost ZERO spins at urban without a serious remix.

This was all one big promotional hokes... The song was intentionally leaked last week. That press release was probably written a month ago.

Yep it was soo planned. Oooh well. I was hoping no one would notice but after the many times Madonna did it..... Its pretty predictable. Janet didn't even need to resort to this.

Hmm, I was looking for this on the Mediabase Pop chart and it seems to be missing. I know it had some spins last time I checked so it should definitely be on there. Where did it go ???

Mediabase calls it "Just a Little While." Maybe that's why it's easy to look over.

Is it still the same song? Yes, though some people say the version they heard on the radio had slightly different production.

This song is actually growing on me, it's extremely catchy, and maybe it's something that I just need to get used to.

The version on the radio is exactly the same, some effects are just clearer. This had 1100 adds today which is a record. It's a catchy song and nothing will stop it from reaching the top of the charts.

Holy crap on a stick, this song is awful. One of her worst singles, if not the worst IMO.
I think this song will have middling success, with a fast rise, quick fall.

We all said the same thing you did when we first heard it. The crap on a stick has actually started growing on many of us....I'm not going to say its her worst single but its definately not her best first single. I think Got Til' Its Gone rivals LMFALW.

At first I thought the song was pretty mediocre, but now I'm really loving it. . . it's a hell of a lot better than "All For You." BTW, Got Til It's Gone was really good .
