When is the radio add date? It could all come down to timing... But offhand I'll say top 10 across the board, with top 5 Hot 100; if the song's style leans much more towards Urban, then top 20 Pop but still top 5 Hot 100; vice versa if it leans towards Pop.
I can't see her not making top 5 Hot 100, I think even without knowing anything about it #1 is likely.

I'll say #1 Urban and Rhythmic. #1 on Billboard with a single and maybe #9 on Pop.

I agree and predict a slam dunk for JJ members.cox.net/jxgal1/Janet_-_Love_Me_For_A_Little_While.mp3 you might as well put this topic in the pop forum because this song is pure pop. I say I think this may be a bigger we expect. I'm shocked at the people who are claiming they love this song. The first single aint going to #1 on the Hot 100. I'm not going to call this just yet

I don't even think this will make the hot 100 and that's the honest truth. I hope I am wrong if this is indeed the first single. Billboard magazine is going to read janet good for putting out this song.

I think it'll do well enough, but not quite well.
And I honestly don't think the Michael Jackson scandal is the main reason why this won't live up to her previous smashes. Simply because she has been out of the stratosphere for around three years now and after "Someone To Call My Lover" slid off the chart, nothing more happened from her last album.
Seriously I hope her father's scandal doesn't domino-effect her career, but even if not, I don't see this being a Top 10 hit outside of the Urban and CHR/Rhythmic markets.
My Predictions:
Urban: #5 CHR/Rhythmic: #4 CHR/Pop: #15 Billboard Hot 100: #12
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I'll predict it'll do the best on pop out of all the formats. I'll say #17 with a fast rise and fast fall, similar to Pink's recent singles. The hype out of the box will give it initial steam, but it'll peak fast.

Solid feel-good pop, but I feel like it could've been stronger and grander. The beginning guitar part kinda reminds me of Sugar Ray's "Mr. Bartender(It's So Easy)."

Wow, I don't think I've seen such a negative reaction to a song. It's really not all THAT bad.
It's not her greatest at all, but it's going to be successful. 99.9% positive about that. I don't have any exact predictions at the moment, but I just think it's not going to be as bad as some make it out to be.

Those format predictions would give it a better Billboard Hot 100 position than you said. To clarify, I predict it will accelerate up the Urban and CHR/Rhythmic charts first, then slide quickly and then weeks after peaking on those formats, that same single will peak on CHR/Pop. I'd say if it's like that it should be about right for a prediction. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I just downloaded this song and its completely fresh and fun. Just like Janet. I don't know what everyone's problem is, I'm glad she did something like this isnt the normal RnB stuff. I hope this is still on for the first single. Very pleased with it.
I'll say top 5! But I hope it gets higher!
