Stations ignoring FeFe Dobson is a problem. This is the best song on the chart right now, until "Away From the Sun" by 3 Doors Down gets there. And the funny part is...."Everything" the just the style of music and type of song that pop stations play...so why aren't they playing it? Too scared to add an unknown (or barely known) artist? I will be angry if this song loses a bullet soon. What can I tell you? CHR-Pop liked Group One of new or breakthrough artists better than Group Two: Group One: Avril, Michelle, and Vanessa Group Two: Lucy Woodward, Lillix, and Fefe

I like group one a lot better too! When you put it that way, I can see why all of the artists in group two haven't done as well. Each of the artists from group 1 have had more success individually than the 2nd group combined.

As must be reiterated every week until it FINALLY drops out of the top 40 without recurrent rules, "In Da Club" has been hanging around for way too long. ;) Top 100 chart run: 78-37-19-11-8-4-2-1-1-1-1-2-4-3-4-7-9-9-12-15-19-23-24-27-28-32-33-33-38-38-38-38-37-34-37-35-37-36-36-37-38-31-31-32-31-34-(36-33)-30-36-36-34-37-36(right now) Spins: 8/29/03 chart (24 weeks ago): 1878 Now: 1815 Its weekly play on AT40 isn't helping it drop any, either. >:(

I think we'll never get to see MI get the quadruple bullet (+1000) at this point, but I'm happy if it stays within the 600-900 bullet range for the next few weeks. I think It'll be snag the #8 spot by late tuesday/early Wed. (maybe even sooner) Possibly by tomorrow night's final update, even.

Spins: 8/29/03 chart (24 weeks ago): 1878 Now: 1815 Has it been almost half a year of stable spins at the 1800 level? My God! :( I knew it was bad when I made that topic weeks ago, but this is getting ridiculous.

The latest victim of the pop chart - Switchfoot! :'( This morning they have lost their bullet with -6. Wow, looks like some people's expectations for this song were too optimistic.

Stations should spend more time playing "Meant to Live" than "In Da Club!!" The pop chart is starting to look bad again IMO, I think the Spring is prime time for rhythmic music, that's the way it was last year and this year from the looks of it, it's not going to be much different. A lot of the biggest gainers are rhythmic songs, which hasn't happened since the fall.

Possibly by tomorrow night's final update, even. Definitely by tomorrow's update Yay! And I'd like to repeat the :( for Switchfoot. One of my favorite songs currently, but unfortunately it was just not meant to be. Jess will hit #1 maybe in 2 weeks. Wow at Janet as it has been the entire week. She could be 31 by the end of the day based on her pace. Usher's got nothing stopping him from top 10 later next week. Eamon will probably hit top 10 which could help his album big time. #1 perhaps?

Definitely by tomorrow's update Yay! You mean, today's final update. ;) MI is currently 5 spins away from It's My Life. It will definitely snag the #8 spot by the afternoon update. MI is shaping up to be a likely candidate for top 5. yay!

Since everyone's keeping tabs on Evanescence, as of the current update, they've overtaken No Doubt for #8.
Janet is still at #33, but will make it to #32 by the final update (she's only 1 spin behind Limp Bizkit). #31 is 63 spins away, given her gains, that's certainly possible.

Oh great!! Just another reason to make me hate him even more! I'm hoping they'll go top 10, right now it looks like they have a decent chance because there are a lot of songs that I don't see going top 10, I have a feeling that Hilary Duff will burn out around #14 or something. Their album could go platinum soon, how many copies so far? If "This Love" goes top 10 maybe Maroon 5 could become the next 3 Doors Down, with slightly smaller hits. If "She Will Be LOved" is released, that'll earn them another guaranteed Top-10 smash! Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Is This the first time in history back-to-back songs have the same title? Sarah M. is # 48 and Mya #49 with "Fallen". Well actually probably #47 and #48 once Trapt is removed.

Can someone send the .htm file for yesterday's final update to r113269@hotmail.com?
After the Grammy's, I completely forgot about staying up to catch it.
I usually save the &grc=r&showtopn=2000 version which is around 360kb. Well, I've only started saving them since 2 months ago.

They totaled around 1mb.
