This song is going for pop adds next week! Originally, I'd think "no way" but 2 things could help this one be successful:
#1: It's an awesome song! #2: Fresh from his Superbowl appearance, the song's gained some more audience (He performed too, remember?)

I don't know... this could be a surprise hit since Josh is pretty big in sales and stuff. I'd say maybe #24.

I like this, but I thought "To Where You Are" was stronger. And if that couldn't even make N&A, I doubt this will do much better.

**listens** **fans self** **collapses**
Sorry I am having a very very girly reaction to his extremely manly, wonderful voice.

This song is very old to me, I don't think it will do much, #65, if that high.

I haven't heard this song yet, but songs like "I Can Only Imagine" made Top 30 without even going for adds!

That's the wrong song. Though if you hate that you probably wouldn't like "You Raise Me Up" either.

Which song was it, "You're Still You"? That's my favorite Josh Groban song of all time!

It was posted in the adds topic that rhythmic-leaning WKSE added it. It has 89 spins and leaders of 20 spins (WXSS), and ten spins on three stations including WKSE.

I would love for pop radio to embrace this, Josh is part of what's "pop"ular in music right now. You'd be surprised at the different age groups he actually appeals to.
But, this won't go anywhere.

#2: Fresh from his Superbowl appearance, the song's gained some more audience (He performed too, remember?) Did he do the National Anthem? I must have missed that... Anyways, this song will go nowhere on pop. Sorry, but Josh will never break through on pop unless he releases a remix of an uptempo song.

Did he do the National Anthem? I must have missed that... No, he performed YRMU before the superbowl as a tribute to the astronaunts who died on the Colombia. Before even going for adds, Josh is already #109.

If pop stations are supposed to play whats popular, they should give this a chance. Josh sells as many albums as just about anyone.
But they don't play whats always popular. So I'll say #54

So I'll say #54 Josh Groban is three and two times platinum and several albums have gone four times platinum or more in the 2000s without having any singles make the CHR-Pop chart. If you think CHR-Pop should play anybody who has a popular album, Shania's singles from her diamond album are a bigger omission than Josh.

WKSE is not rhythmic-leaning during the day. Their midday playlist is very adult-leaning, and “You Raise Me Up” fits in perfectly. I said from day one, that this record is an absolute smash. I don’t care if Josh’s voice doesn’t sound Top 40 enough, people love him, and his records absolutely blow away the competition when it comes to callout. (Josh and Clay Aiken that is) Radio is gonna have to accept this eventually!

WKSE has quite an apparent day-parting and this song fits in quite well with their midday playlist.

I really like the song, but it's not going to catch on...just IMO.
I'm going to say #49.
