Sheryl Crow "The First Cut Is The Deepest"
Vs
Mandy Moore "Have A Little Faith In Me"
Vs
No Doubt "It's My Life"
All 3 are new singles just recently released in the US... all are fantastic but I gotta go with:
1-0-0 Sheryl Crow

And I'll go with Mandy Moore. I like all three, though.

I haven't heard Sheryl's and No Doubt's songs enough to form a good opinion, but just basing it on the first listen of all three songs, I'd definitely vote for No Doubt.
1-3-1, you don't have to count my post as a vote.

I loved "It's My Life" by Talk Talk. One of the finest examples of '80's music. I just heard No Doubt's version, and though it as expected falls far short of the Talk Talk version, for right now I don't mind them bringing back this wonderful song.
I've also heard Sheryl Crow's version of one of Rod Stewart's better songs, and likewise I don't mind her bringing back an underrated song. Probably her vocals are better, but I still would prefer to hear Rod on this.
I've heard the Mandy song maybe once, too, and thought it was okay, but didn't realize it was a remake of anything.
I'm not sure I'm ready to vote on this based on one listen to each song

How come I didn't vote in this thing back then?
Anyway, my pick is for No Doubt.

I want to give 0.5 to No Doubt and Sheryl Crow. I really like both. I don't even remember "Have A Little Faith In Me." I think I would find a good deal of "Coverage" boring.
