To celebrate Matchbox Twenty's record tying 11 weeks at #1 on MT40 this week, I'm going to start a poll to see which song is their best based on what you guys think. I chose their 8 biggest hits on The Max and unfortunately 'Push' wasn't included.

Yeah, that is too bad, because it might be their best song.

I think "If You're Gone" is their best, with "Push", "Real World", and "Bent" close behind.

I really like all of them; MB20 are amazing; great vocals by Thomas.
If I have to choose my faves, I'd say "Bent" with "3am" and "Push" really close behind. I thought "Long Day" was great way back in '96 when I first heard the track...too bad nothing much came of that, not even on alternative radio.
Anywayz, the band rocks, and their longevity proves that. I'm not at all surprised by their success this year. I have high hopes for "Bright Lights" and see it as a great fall tune.

I don't have a favorite MBT song. I love all of them. That list is pretty tough because all of the songs in it are just great. Having said that, I voted for BL because it's their current single and it just gives me chills every time I hear Rob sing "For God's sake turn around."

The only MB20 song I could stand listening to was "Last Beautiful Girl."

3AM by a wide margin.
Push would be #2 with Unwell 3rd.

"Push" definetly first, I love the rest of them too though, It's hard to classify, there are some that I like less than others. #1 - Push #2 - Madseason, Long Day, Real World #3 - 3 am, Unwell, Last Beautiful Girl, Back 2 Good #4 - Bent, Bright Lights, Disease #5 - If You're Gone "Angry" is also a great song! I almost forgot about "Disease" when I did this.

It would either be "Push" or "Bent," but since you're not giving us the opportunity to vote for "Push," I guess I'll go with "Bent".

I almost forgot about "Disease" when I did this. It's funny because a lot of people have basically forgotton about that song due to 'Unwell'. That's why it almost seems like 'Unwell' is the album's first single, don't you agree?

My favorite pop/rock band of the 90s and 00s - I can't pink a fav!!! I like them all for different reasons! However, I did vote for If You're Gone only because that is the biggest song by MB20 that I still listen to a lot.

I like "Back to Good" and "Bent" the most. Actually I've only really liked one song from each of their albums, and "Disease" is the one I like from their latest. I don't see the appeal of some of their songs, like 3AM. And though I don't hate it, the popularity and poll-winning ablility of "Unwell" baffles me.

I got to WVU, and Matchbox 20 was performing here in Morgantown yesterday! It was my first time seeing them, and I was lucky enough to be about 10 feet away. It was probably one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Not only did they perform all their biggest hits and album material, but right in the middle, they did a cover of the 1980's hit, "Don't You Forget About Me" from The Breakfast Club. The crowd went crazy, and it was the best cover I've ever heard. All throughout, Rob Thomas was talking about "West By God Virginia" which also made the crowd go crazy. The performance reaffirmed the band as my favorite group of all-time. Too hard to pick one favorite song.

When it comes to BEST SONG. I say "none of the above", as "Kody" has yet to be beaten as their most beautiful and well-written track.
However, as best single, it's "Bright Lights" hands-down, as this is definitely their most musically diverse single to date (possible exception "Mad Season") and Rob Thomas continues to grow in his ablity to write ballads and this is absolutely brilliant.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

had Push been included, for sure that would have been my pick... but Back 2 Good is a good choice.

I'd vote for Push, but you don't have it listed on the poll.

1. Bent PushDisease2. 3 A.M. 3. Real World 4. Unwell 5. If You're Gone 6. Mad Season 7. Bright Lights Last Beautiful Girl8. Back 2 Good It's kinda funny that the first 3 choices are first singles, next three second singles, next three third singles and the next two fourth singles. ;) Where will 'Downfall' place?

"Real World" was a third single, not a second. Actually, if you count "Long Day", it was a fourth single. And "If You're Gone" was a second single, not a third.

I think my fav. MB20 singles are Long Day, Push, and Unwell. I's really hard to chose though since I love all their music. I can't wait for a new album and tour. I saw them 3 times on their last tour and it got better with every show.
