What is your all-time favorite B*Witched single? You can also hear a small clip of the unreleased track "Where Would You Go" which was suppose to be their comeback single: ip3e83174b.speed.planet.nl/b-witched/sleeping.mp3 (taken from Lindsay's official forum: www.lindsayarmaou.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1344 ) I voted for "Blame It On The Weatherman." I loved a lot of their songs on "Awake and Breathe" too, especially "Are You A Ghost?" which was pulled last minute to be a single (they substitued the release with "I Shall Be There"). Here's my placement of all their singles in order: Blame It On The Weatherman C'est La Vie To You I Belong (close to #2!) Jesse Hold On I Shall Be There Rollercoaster Mickey Jump Down (a weak, watered down version of the upbeat singles of their first album; no surprise it failed to ignite the charts on fire. according to Lindsay, "Jump Down" was released because it was radio friendly and it was strictly to get airplay.)

All their songs were horrible, but atleast "C'est La Vie" was catchy.

I don't know all of the songs, but of the ones I do, it's "Blame It On The Weatherman".
While no "Blame It On The rain", its still a good tune.

What is your all-time favorite B*Witched single? I chose C'est La Vie. I think it's the only B*Witched song I've ever heard.

I choose "To You I Belong." Great song. I agree! I own this B*Witched video called "We Four Girls Are Here To Stay!" or something cos it was on sale at FYE and the girls said that song was dedicated to their parents or something along that line. Very sweet!

I vote for C'est La Vie by a clover! Very close behing is Rollercoaster and then To You I Belong.
I own their debut and it's a great cheesy pop album. C'est La Vie takes me right back and it's so fun. I love their talking in between *get a loife* and *some people say I look like me dad* I think that song is about sex really, it has questionable lines like *i'll show you mine if you show me yours* *is it very big* *do you ever get lonely playing with your toy* and *i'll blow you away*. There's also a bit of domination in *say you'll do what i want".... they're not as wholesome as it seems.
I have a bonus remix disc and the club/trance versions of To You I Belong and Blame It On The Weatherman are both fantastic, they'd sit comfortably alongside a lot of great trance tunes (surprising but it's true).

I love C'est La Vie! Pop classic!
I also like "Rollercoaster" and "Blame It On The Weatherman." I'm going to get their CD at Amoeba next time.

I can't stand any song by this group. However, I can see why "C'est La Vie" was a huge trans-Atlantic hit---it is pretty catchy and memorable I guess, so I'll vote for that song.
As for the others--why the next 3 songs on the list debuted at #1 in the UK is still beyond me.

I love C'est La Vie!Β Pop classic! I also like "Rollercoaster" and "Blame It On The Weatherman." I'm going to get their CD at Amoeba next time. Well, I ended up buying it on Amazon for around 3 bucks, including shipping. It's a good CD. Very poppy. Very "fun."

As a 13 year old, I found myself loving C'est La Vie ( I can still remember dancing around my bedroom to the part where the song breaks down into that flut/accordion/Irish sounding part).Β Now I just feel ashamed I ever liked them but oh well. Can anybody tell me a bit more about these girls?Β Where were they from? What ever happened to them?
I also liked their cover of Hey Mickey. I downloaded it. :)

I got their debut, and it was a good, fluffy album.
Blame It On The Weatherman is great. One of the best pop songs of the 90s for me.

I remember thinking I was so naughty to listen to a song with such explicit lyrics. "Is it very big, is there room for two? I've got a house with windows and doors, I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

Well, I ended up buying it on Amazon for around 3 bucks, including shipping. It's a good CD. Very poppy. Very "fun." The cover art is super fun! I just borrowed it from my local library and burned it. The album is VERY strong. I wonder why I never picked it up even though I liked all the songs I heard. A thorougly good pop album done right is hard to find. B*Witched's debut gets it all right. If I ever have trouble finding the fourth free CD in the clearance section of Amoeba, I won't heisitate to pick up "B*Witched." They even evolved for their 2nd album, which I find quite good as well. "Awake and Breathe" is not for everybody, especially those expecting a "C'est La Vie" #2; the album is much more slow and mature. I wished they didn't end as a band.. great pop songs. Great pop voices. I wanna wear denim. More sexy "C'est La Vie" lyrics: "Do you play with the girls, play with the boys? Do you ever get lonely playing with your toys?"
