I was just wondering what you guys thought about the success of these follow up singles. Who do you think will do the best. My gut says Beyonce but my vote is gonna go with Christina

I voted for Mya because I like it the best of all the songs listed.
i don't think it's fair to include Christina in this topic, since she already went for adds and we already know the song will do well since it has +600, while we don't know about the others at all yet.
I hope Maroon 5 and Jason also get second hits.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say "My Immortal". I think "The Voice Within" is going to go up +800 or so and then hit a brick wall.

Evanescence's "My Immortal", closely followed by Christina Aguilera's "The Voice Within"...

I voted for Evanescence, although Christina and Mya aren't far behind. BeyoncΓ© and Jason Mraz are uncertain, and I haven't heard the other 2.

I can totally see Evanescence going Top 10 but the others I'm not so sure about.
Beyounce may hit a brick wall at around #18, Christina will peak at #18 also, no chart for Maroon 5 or Jason (in Top 50) and Mya will probably peak at #33.

I hope people stop voting for Christina, because usually on this board the opposite outcome happens from what is predicted!

I voted for "My Immortal," but I think they all have a pretty big chance of failing to make the Top 20.

"My Immortal" is the only Top 10 lock here.

Definately Christina Aguilera.
How can Evanesence have a follow-up on a song that went know where?! (Going Under). It didnt even hit the top 30! I wouldnt be surprised if theyll become 1 hit wonders.

I don't think a band like Evanescence will become a one hit wonder. "Going Under" didn't do bad at alternative and now with BMTL on it's way out that leaves room for MI

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "Fallen" by Mya. I like the song a whole lot. :)

Well, I haven't heard most of these songs yet. I think radio here plays most songs later than the rest of the country. Actually, the only song I know I've heard on radio is Mraz's, and it's pretty decent, but I can't see it being a big pop hit. It will be lucky to make the Top 20 on Hot AC. The other song I think I've heard, but am not absolutely sure, is Beyonce's. I just recently heard a new song that I identified as Beyonce, so I assume it's that song. I liked it a lot, better than her first two songs, but that means it probably will fail. I haven't heard Christina's new one despite its great start. I guess it'll do pretty well. I haven't heard the single version of "My Immortal", but I love the album version. "Going Under" is a bona fide hit. Look how well it did not only on the alternative charts, but also on the highly esteemed Pulsechart. I haven't heard the Staind song on radio, but I have it on my CD. I just played it, and I think it could be a hit on rock or alternative, but I have doubts about pop. I hope Mya's song is a lot better than her last. I certainly wouldn't bet on Maroon 5, though I'm interested in hearing their new song. Hmmm...I still don't know which to vote for. None look like a sure thing. Okay, Beyonce, because I think it should.

0 votes for Maroon5?!Β :o lol! I remember everyone doubting it's ability to reach Top 10 after it was first released.

Even though I adore the song, I have to admit I thought it would flop. I honestly thought it was TOO good for radio
