I had to leave off 3 so I left off "Childhood Dreams" "Grass Is Green" and "Saturday"... Saturday is too short and she laughs in the middle of it. Childhood Dreams is too long and not very radio friendly IMO. And I just plumb forgot to put "Grass Is Green" on the list.
I would LOVE to see Forca as single 2, but in the making of Folklore video, they already seemed to have shot the videos for Try and Explode.
Opinions?

I chose "Try". I think that is the best chance for a major hit. It is also my favorite song. The only track i would never want to be a single is "Fresh Off The Boat" unless she remixed it with somebody like Wyclef.

"Explode" is the best choice for Pop.
"Try" is the best choice for Hot AC.

This album is a stronger work than her debut album, but there are really no obvious single choices. It seems like she had an unexpected hit album the first time around and just wants to be more of an underground artist because a lot of the album sounds like she's trying to stray as far from a pop sound as possible. The strongest tracks on the album are "One-Trick Pony," "Explode," and "Try". I'm voting for "Try" though. It's a nice slow song with a great melody.

I haven't listened to the later songs on the album, but "Explode" sounds like it could give her a chance and "Try" as well.

I love 'The Grass Is Green'! It's a FUN song but not meant for radio. It sounds like it was recorded in one take but one fun take.
I voted 'Try', possibly Nelly's best song!

"Try" is by far the best song that she's ever recorded. I think this is way better than anything off her first album.

I'm not a big fan of "splitting" singles, but I decided that if I were the record company, I would send "Explode" to pop and "Try" to Hot AC/AC/AAA. by the time Try started heating up, Explode would be over at pop (even if it were a big hit)
The key though... remix FORCA and send it to the clubs! I think that could be the biggest hit of them all!
If the Explode/Try combo works, I would split again "Forca" and "Picture Perfect" (Although I like "Build You Up" more, PP sounds more radio friendly)
I still love this album and listen everyday!
