Even though her fourth single isn't doing well and the odds that a fifth song will be released in Canda from 'What If It All Means Something' are 1000:1, what would you choose if there was gonna be a fifth single from the CD? Let's say that there'll be one released after the Juno Nominations are announced (I hope/expect Chantal to get some).
These are the remaining songs on her CD and 'Feels Like Home', on the US version of the disc. (Japan's version also has FLH, 'Leaving On A Jet Plane' and 'This Year').

"What If It All Means Something" [the single] isn't doing very well, is it? I would be very happy to get a fifth single. For me, it's between "Waiting" and "Ready For Your Love" but I placed a vote for the latter.

Well, I don't hear it often on the radio (heard it twice, actually) both in Newfoundland and never heard it on Halifax radio and I don't know if anyone else has heard it either, in Canada. A few people on her boards have heard it a few times.

Why doesnt she crack into the US market? I did notice non-imported Chantal Kreviazuk albums on Amazon...but never any airplay...
You Candians rave about her!

I really haven't given this cd much of a chance yet but the best song yet to be released is "Waiting" atleast imo.

I definately agree with 'Waiting'!
I think they tried hard to break her through to the US with this CD. Free promo CD singles, a radio tour, a small tour with Jason Mraz (who also toured with my other favourite, Martina Sorbara! :) ... and he toured with Michelle Branch too), anyways, she's also on a bunch of soundtrack CDs and stuff too and I think she's doing the theme song from Shrek 2, or at least a song on it but I heard last year it was the theme song for it.
Anyways, 'In This Life' did hit #17 on Hot AC earlier in the year and 'Time' (from 'Uptown Girls') went for adds but flopped. :(

I heard "Weight Of The World" playing on the in-store music system at Smart & Final (a discount chain) a few months ago. :)

I can't believe "Weight Of The World" is in the lead. :o That's one of my least favorite Chantal songs ever. Talk about annoying!

no, only Mike really raves about her You make it sound like everyone else doesn't like her except me.
I could see 'Weight Of The World' as a single though, honestly but it's also among my least favourites too. I heard it in Zellers a few months ago as well. ;)

It's a close one between "Weight Of The World" and "Waiting".
I'd go with "Waiting", but honestly, her promotion for this album is done.
Time for the next album!

Well how do you think she got preggie? That's true. Man, she is a sexysexobsessive mama. I remember putting up a wallpaper on my desktop of Chantal half-naked with rose petals all around her. My friend was flabbergasted and thought it was "very sexual." The first time I heard "Morning Light," I could not believe my ears. Chantal better watch herself because she has fans of all ages.
