Krazymack, is there anyway Janet can get past this with the former fans? She'll just have to let time pass and suffer chagrin for her actions. Janet will also have to face the constant abuse by media for her “whorish” stunt. Perhaps she'll learn a valuable lesson from all of this. Years from now she'll probably laugh at herself for this incident. I'm pretty sure it was her intentions to do something daring. Maybe she might be proud of what she did because she’ll go down in history. Although music artists might not see themselves as role model figures, they automatically become one when in the public eye, especially at a venue like the Super Bowl during prime time television when millions are watching. The bottom line is that it is very hard to look past a boob incident like this and not notice her as some sort of publicity slut for doing such thing. In my opinion, I don't think she is a great example for younger girls (personally my younger sister) to really look up to when you do such a thing. It exemplifies a selfish female, with a lack of dignity, and who feels a need to expose some part of their body just to gain attention. That's how come you have many women across America who have insecurities about the way they look. It is people like Janet who perpetuates a female image to women in society that they should be some sort of sexpot. She started out with an apology that’s a good thing. Maybe toning down her act can help as well. Janet can also continue to publicly admit that she was wrong and relating that act to issues in feminism by stating that women shouldn’t have to be partially nude just to get noticed. Maybe that will win her former fans back. I guess time will tell if she doesn’t continue to endure a backlash.

Kahime, I think she should raise money for breast cancer by becoming a breast cancer spokesperson. I think that it would be very fitting.
Do you think Justin shares some if not most of the blame because he was the one who pulled Janet's costume off?

I think many folks would start to respect her again if she contributed to a cause like this one, it would put a good "spin" on things. :)

Do you think Justin shares some if not most of the blame because he was the one who pulled Janet's costume off? Absolutely! Justin is equally to blame for such act, he contributed to the hype of this incident. He even had the nerve to cover up his behind with a "full on" lie by saying that it was an accident when many folks darn well knew it was a stunt. This act of cowardice demonstrates his true "egocentric" personality. He was preoccupied with the notion of saving his own ass from embarrassment. How sad is that? But he's not experiencing the worst of it because it was Janet's breast that was involved.

I just wonder why Janet would put Mike Powell's job in jephardy after working with Colin on the America's Promise thing. I don't think I am going to write Janet off just yet because she has done alot for black people and black women in particular in the past. One mistake doesn't erase all of that.
