This fourth single from "Fallen", which is currently climbing Alternative radio, is in addition going to be released to the CHR/Pop format.
Considering "Fallen" is still selling stellar, this will likely become another Top 30 hit for them.
However, I feel this will most likely settle for something between a "Falls On Me" and, currently, an "Away From The Sun" run which seems to be on the verge of falling.
(I apologize if someone may have already started a topic on this here. I looked back aways and couldn't find a topic for this here)
My Prediction: #18
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I think it will flop. I'd rather see them work on promoting "Broken".

I think it will flop.Β I'd rather see them work on promoting "Broken". #32 "Broken" is actually a Seether track which Amy Lee is featured in, so I don't think releasing another Evanescence single will affect its overall potential. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

#50 would fit the pattern.
Although "WNC" is the most likely outcome.

#50 would fit the pattern. Although "WNC" is the most likely outcome. That also may be a possibility, considering "Going Under" could barely go Top 50 (though it was never promoted to CHR/Pop in earnest). It was treated almost like a "Hailee's Song" However, "Everybody's Fool" is looking to get promoted in earnest so that's how I felt personally it would at least outpeak "Going Under" Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I think anything could happen to this song.
With "Broken" also out there, there's some added competition, that probably isn't healthy for this song. But, because of My Immortal, the song will probably get at least some additional airplay. I think it all depends on pop stations' willingness to put another rock song on their playlist and how well Wind-Up promotes it.
It could probably make it as high as #20, or as low as #50. But, I think it'll chart.

I think one will overshadow the other though.Β I'm not sure CHR/Pop would play two Amy Lee related tracks at once. Why not? It's only been 15 months since its release and "Bring Me To Life" would still be in the top 50 if you took away its recurrent ticket. Their other pop hit is just dying down now. Hip hop appears to be starting to fade a bit. Why wouldn't pop milk Amy and her band bone dry right now? Not that I want that to happen, of course, but it makes sense.

Mid-30s sounds about right for this.

I'm not sure how this'll perform. I think I'm inclined to agree with Matt on this one. I know that most fans didn't agree with the single choice upon first word.
I'm going to say #33.
I agree with Rebirth Experience that Broken is going to overshadow is going to outperform Everybody's Fool. I believe Broken will outperform Everybody's Fool on all formats.
BTW, is there an add date for this yet?

I think people might be under-estimating this one. I think this could go Top 10.

Top 40, but unfortunately not much more than that. I think "Broken" will definitely get a lot more airplay.

I'm getting sick of Evanescence, nothing by them sounds good anymore because it's old, it seems their music ages faster than other rock bands. I'll say #27 for this song, but I could see this also not making the top 40.

It's a good song, but I don't think it'll go especially far. :#19

IMO, this is too much of a rock track for pop radio. However, since its Evanesence, itll crack the top 20
Prediction: #16
"Broken" will turn the attention away from this.

From my first post in the alternative section about this song, I said that many fans didn't agree with the single choice. Not only did many people not like the single choice, a lot of them have called it their least favorite Evanescence song...and that's not just Fallen.
That includes songs from the Evanescence and Whisper/Sound Asleep EPs, Origin, the demo versions of the songs they sent to Wind-up, and some of their cover songs.
That amounts to about 50-60 songs.

I saw the video for "Broken" the first time last night and I have to say...it doesn't move me like the video for "Everybody's Fool" does. I can honestly say I think "Broken" will end up being overlooked and "Everybody's Fool" will take off. The vocals the Seether singer has in the song just don't seem to match Amy Lee's and this lack of balance is going to throw off the song's optimum chart performance. "Everybody's Fool" certainly won't chart as well as their first two #1 smashes "Bring Me To Life" and "My Immortal" (A #1 Hot AC smash) but it should get a well enough reception, most likely superior to "Away From The Sun", the third mainstream outing from 3 Doors Down's latest release. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

z103 has added this into their rotation after it was pumped by 99% on a recent edition of Pump it or Dump it
It's a really good rock track, I like it
but yea, it's probably too hard for Pop/Top 40 radio...but it should still crack the Top 20 based on the name Evanescence alone

I saw the video today online and it seems like they copied the video of "Everytime" by Britney Spears and Im serious Im not saying this for nothing it has alot of similarities! The bathtub scence/ect... there are a bunch of scences there that the "Everytime" video has as well I don't know if it's just me but it look's like Amy was making fun of the "Everytime" video

I agree that there are similarities, but I disagree that they ripped off the video. Same thing with My Immortal's video when they compared it with "The Voice Within", but that's only because they were both shot in black and white. When you get down to the actual plots, both Everytime and Everybody's Fool are rather different. Everybody's Fool is quirky and yet dark at the same time. Everytime is actually darker and a little more disturbing than any video that Ev has made.

I have no idea what either of you are talking about. Just because she is sitting in a bathtub...I really see no similarities. I would have NEVER watched both videos and actually thought one was copying the other ???

This song kicks ass! Evanescence rules! I loved the song instantly after a first listen.Β The video was awesome too.Β I think it has a chance to perform decently on CHR.Β It is radio friendly enough to me.Β I hope it does well.
