I'm a little disappointed that there is still a singles deficit when it comes to really popular radio hits. Only 2 of the top 10 have singles available. Apparently Dido's White Flag will be available so that's cool. I spoke to SoundScan Canada's GM about Puretracks.com and whether or not they would track digital download sales. She said they need more than one site before tracking sales. Too bad. I really don't see any other sites offering paid downloads popping up in the near future. I think the established retailers should start offering it. I thought I heard HMV was going to, but not sure. HMV/Amazon.ca, mymusic.ca, futureshop.com, archambault.ca, cdplus.com and all other online canadian record stores all need to get on board.
