Did Soak Up The Sun have weeks at #1 as well? I remember it being one of the top songs on Canadian radio in 2002(mainly on CHR/Pop but of course Hot AC & AC must have overplayed it as well)

Same for Picture?

Soak Up The Sun spent 7 weeks @ #1 on the AC chart back in 2002.

Picture peaked @ #10 on AC just before the radio panel was changed for the introduction of the HotAC chart. It never placed higher. Picture was #6 on the HotAC test chart the week before it's official introduction when it fell to 9th. I would tend to think it would have placed higher if the HotAC chart had existed before then.

Do you know where Sheryl is on the CanCon Country chart? I hear 'The First Cut' on the radio a bit.

Also, you wouldn't happened to know how the Dixie Chicks have been doing in relation to the US, would you?

"The First Cut Is The Deepest" is not currently on the Top 50 Country chart.

Well that sucks. I know it is her 4th single from WIIAMS but the song is awesome and should be doing better than it is. I didn't realize how popular Nelly's video for "Powerless" in Canada

I'm not surprised though. There wasn't much promotion put into the song as far as I know and I only heard it on the pop/rock station in Newfoundland when I was home for Christmas. It's still weird when you compare it to her other fourth singles 'Surrounded' and 'Far Away', both pretty big hits.

The pop station in Vancouver didn't even add "Julia" (3rd single). I wrote several e-mails, to no avail. :(

Aww... 'Julia' was a horrible choice as a single anyway. Decent album track but since it was released, I usually skip over it on the CD. 'Waiting' was a hit waiting to happen and they didn't even give it a chance. Just like 'Little Things' from the last CD. Both potential SMASH singles! Aw well. Maybe with her contribution to Shrek 2 later on this year...

Slow hasn't charted yet. I doubt it will now. It's Top 10 on CKOI Montreal though. MaxTrax Power Hits added it less than a month ago. I wonder if they'll drop it.
