Does anybody remember this playground Christmas classic? It would've been a Christmas #1 if playgrounds did a chart.
The song goes something like this: "Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg, Batmobile lost it's wheel and Joker got away..."
TLC even paid homage to it in "Sleigh Ride"!

Even when I was like 5, I found this parody really lame.

According to Billboard's Top 20 Children's Christmas hits chart, this song was #1 on at least 13 different occations since the chart began in 1980. It's just behind 'Frosty The Snowman' for most appearances but spent one more week than 'Frosty' at #1 with 16 weeks.

I couldn't get it out of my head in 3rd and 4th grade. Easy-to-remember lyrics and a familiar melody make this one a Christmas classic for all ages.

Bart sang that song on the first or second season of "The Simpsons." Then in season 4, Adam West mentions Robin and Bart says "Who the hell's Robin?"

Casey began playing his holiday programming on AT10 this weekend and this was NOT one of the songs that got played, although it would have been fun to hear.

There was an earlier one whose lyrics went something like "Jingle Bells, Santa smells, Rudolph ran away..." Anyone know the remaining lyrics, or was that it?

I hated it when other kids sang this. I didn't find it at all amusing.
