Does anyone have an explanation for why most of the starting stations for "Accidentally in Love" only have two AM spins?

Does anyone have an explanation for why most of the starting stations for "Accidentally in Love" only have two AM spins? Quite possibly because it recieved one spin from AT40 (where it was featured as a movie extra) and one from Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 (where it debuted this past week), and many stations run those shows in the morning. From the looks of things, Christina Milian could enter the Top 10 by the end of the week! :) Talk about a surprise performance...too bad she has to knock out Maroon 5. At least the latter has another hit which is absolutely soaring...She Will Be Loved has a +1073 bullet and will certainly enter the Top 30 very soon! JoJo is all but guaranteed to hit #2 with Leave this week, but #1 will have to wait another week or two after that. Luckily, Hoobastank is falling fast so we won't be stuck with that for too much longer. Turn Me On, Pieces Of Me and Confessions, Part 2 are on the way to the Top 10. Unfortunately Heaven is stuck behind that traffic jam of songs trying to move along, but I think they'll hold up and once Beyonce, Mario Winans, et al fall out, they'll eventually find their way into the Top 10. I'm not sure that the same will go for Freek-A-Leek, however. LOL, look at Maria Mena crash and burn! I never did like that song at all...but I did like Our Lives and of course it's collapsing. Guess the money/payola tree ran out for The Calling.

Guess the money/payola tree ran out for The Calling. And apparently it's also running out for the Duff sisters. The song didn't have many adds, nor a very impressive gaining. I'm actually a bit surprised at the 16 adds Lloyd Banks' "On Fire" got! ??? Not that I mind. I think the song is funky as hell! :)

Jojo's actually accelerating :o She'll most definitely be #2 for this week. Almost +1000 again! :o I wonder what the peak spin total will be with this song...

Well, now it looks VERY likely that Maroon 5 will fall out of the top 10 this week to let Christina Milian in. That means, yet ANOTHER week for Usher to have 2 top 10 singles. And guess what, there is a good chance he could score THREE top 10 pop singles!
Next week, the battle for the next top 10 berth will be between Kevin Lyttle, Ashlee Simpson, and Usher's Confessions. Now, one may think that Yeah! would fall out, but look at Mario Winans losing spins! He could lose enough spins to fall out of the top 10 before Yeah! does. That means Confessions MIGHT make it top 10 next week. IF it does not, then the very next week, the battle for the top 10 berth will be Confessions & Ashlee/Kevin vs. Yeah! & Naughty Girl who is also falling quickly. Wow, I don't think we have ever seen 3 simultaneous top 10 "solo" (meaning primary artist) pop hits by one artist in the PPW era.

Why is Yeah! STILL in the top 10??? >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( Well see, each week the total number of spins for a song across the panel are counted and summed. Then, the totals are ordered from highest to lowest. Yeah! is within the top 10 of these total spins. (Hahaha, sorry, I couldn't resist... )

Mis-teeq lost their bullet. Yay! Alicia Keys lost some spins. This means the dreaded Black Eyed Peas get to stay on the chart for another week. Hoobastank and Jojo both suffered a bit today. Any chance the former can keep out the latter? Sigh. Yellowcard lost their bullet. :'( Britney's about to lose hers.

All the top 10 bullets are down (except maybe for Nina Sky). I guess the formats couldn't handle 10 songs being at +600 or more anymore.

Jessica Simpson is in SERIOUS trouble with 'Angels'. About two weeks too late. If she peaks at #24, that's still one spot higher than where the Robbie Williams version peaked.

Jessica Simpson isn't in trouble. #24 is way too high for a horrible remake by a talentless singer. I think most people predicted it would flop anyway (I know I did) so #24 is above expectations, really.
Meanwhile, my download of Newlyweds ep 303 has just finished, so I'll go watch it.

That is because two stations, KRBV in Dallas and WBZZ in Pittsburg, just flipped formats out of CHR/Pop. Every song that was on those two stations playlists will lose spins.

Sony killed any momentum Jessica had after "With You". What a stupid idiotic decision it was to release two dreadful covers back to back. Not that I'm complaining, but the stupidity is astounding.

Jojo will easily make #1 next week and she could stay up there for a while with nothing major behind her, I don't see Switchfoot making #1, how come everyone complained about Nickelback taking forever to peak? Switchfoot has taken longer and is a few months older than "Someday." It is a good song but it should of went #1 6 months ago. The largest bullet behind Jojo is Nina Sky and Kevin Lyttle, "Turn Me On" remind be of some kind of R&B from the early 90's and "Move Ya Body" is a good but not #1 material, not even top 5. I can't understand why stations won't let go of "Yeah." Hopefully Maroon 5 will hold on to the top 10 and Usher will exit. "She Will Be Loved" is now up over +1000! Avril is also still seeing some decent gains. Nickelback and Trapt are slowly climbing. What happened to the Calling, "Our Lives" was a good song!

Hey wow, looks like Maroon 5 might not leave the Top Ten after all. "Yeah!" by Usher drops out instead (and it should, as it's been around forever, or so it seems)

Christina Milian scores a top 10 with Dip it Low. She could actually be #8 by the end of the week and if Naughty Girl moves down enough, she'll be #7.
I'm afraid that One Thing might just be stuck in a traffic jam :( Too bad too, the song should be heating up.
Ugh at Slow Motion :(

Don't go counting your chickens yet guys...
8 10 MAROON 5 This Love 4986 5544 -558 39.252 9 11 USHER Yeah (f/Ludacris & L... 4981 5371 -390 41.801
BUT with Mario Winans only 38 spins ahead of Maroon 5 AND losing about 100 more, BOTH could stay for another week.

Angels is down to +173 looks like she won't get a top 15 and maybe not a top 20. Away From The Sun +7 going from 40 to 36 WOW! It's still hanging in there!! Slow Motion and One Thing seem to have come out from no where a fews a ago One Thing was gaining below 100 now it's gaining 266 and Slow Motion was getting 17 adds with 39 stations playing and then the next week it's at #40 and now it's gaining 533. LEt's Get It Started I hope this goes top 10 it's better than Hey Mama, but POP may be tired of the Black Eyed Peas, so you never know. I wish Our Lips Are Sealed could have least got top 30, but now it's -5 so that chance is broken unless two songs so recurrent and noting passes it in one day. Accidentally In Love +246 on 103 stations that's more than My Happy Ending which has 99 stations What did Alanis do wrong besides waiting forever and that her Record Label has had some problems according to www.rockonthenet.comI hope Slide Alone Side will make top 40, it has a great beat which POP seems to be likeing right now. If only POP would add older artist now, it's all about rap and showing skin

If only POP would add older artist now, it's all about rap and showing skin Maroon5? Hoobastank? Switchfoot? (Even Ashlee Simpson? JoJo?) She put out the most boring single of her entire career. That would be a 4-way tie between her last 4 singles. The truth is - no one wants to hear that crap from her again. We all fell for it the first time circa 1995-7, but as the saying goes, "Once bitten, twice shy." No updates in the past 26 hrs. I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms already.
