I have not heard I Don't Wanna Know in at least a month. I'm surprised it's still in the top 10.

Maroon5? Hoobastank? Switchfoot? (Even Ashlee Simpson? JoJo?) That would be a 4-way tie between her last 4 singles. The truth is - no one wants to hear that crap from her again. We all fell for it the first time circa 1995-7, but as the saying goes, "Once bitten, twice shy." No updates in the past 26 hrs. I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms already. Yeah the only artists "showing skin" in the top 30 would be. . . Britney, Beyonce, Christina Millian, Usher (lol), maybe Misteeq, and Jessica Simpson. . . I don't kwow what that guy is talking about.

Mis-Teeq have their bullet back, +93. I'm really pulling for this song. They'd be the first British all-female vocal group to hit the CHR top ten since the Spice Girls, first British women since Dido, and first Brits period since Daniel Bedingfield.

I still hear this all the time, that's what happens when you have the most conservative pop station in the US. Look at WNCI-Columbus's playlist if you have time tonight. You'll start getting pains.

This song seems like "Bounce" or "Stuck." Songs that are good, but nothing too memorable about them to make the Top 10.

What was the last update? I have a 1:42am update which doesn't look any different from the 5:40pm update.

Wow! Everytime went from +120 to -142 in a single update :'( And looks like Confessions Pt. 2 MIGHT not make it in the top 10!

Extrapolating (since extrapolating is always accurate isn't it), this will result in a 18327 spin loss by next Sunday night. This should be its last week on the chart.

Looking at the chart, it seems like someone went recurrent, but I can't figure out who.

Looking at the chart, it seems like someone went recurrent, but I can't figure out who. Nobody as far as I can tell (at least not from the top 50). Black Eyed Peas should finally go next week though, along with J-Kwon and (possibly) 3 Doors Down... even though they're currently bulleted.

what is the deal with 3 Doors Down anyways, I haven't seen someone regain new life without a re-release like this since Blessid Union Of Souls with I Wanna Be There... I never did understand why Away From The Sun wasn't another smash for them.

Didn't "Dirrty" regain a new life? True, but its second wind didn't last this long, I don't think. I remember her as bulletless in Week 20.

I'm quite surprised to see Los Lonely Boys' "Heaven," hanging around in the top 20. The track seems a little dated, perhaps something released around 1998 or something. The track has grown on me during the last couple of days, very infectious and cute sounding song, IMO. Not to mention it has a beautiful message which makes it such a breath of fresh air for pop radio. Congrats to the beautiful Christina Milian for scoring her first top 10 hit with "Dip It Low." The track dazzles me. It looks like Ashlee Simpson may have a chance to score her first top 10 hit. "Pieces of Me," is a great song and I would like to think that her older sister Jessica had little to do with her successful start of a music career. I think the song is quite a gem on its own and am glad that she is doing quite well with it. Speaking of newcomers, hopefully JoJo scores a #1 with her first hit, I'd never expected her to make the top 2. That's the biggest surprise for me this year while following the pop charts. I'm really rooting for Kevin Lyttle's "Turn Me On," to get as far as it can get. It is currently my favorite song on the pop chart. I've heard it so much when I vacationed in West Palm Beach, FL last week and they play it quite a bit here in NYC. Pop radio totally crapped on Janet, "All Nite (Don't Stop)" deserved much better than it got. I don't see how an upbeated and exciting song like that one especially when many "fast paced" songs are gaining reasonably well, couldn't at least garner a top 25 hit. Shame on America's pop radio stations for not playing my girl Janet. However, I commend stations like Z100 for at least giving the track some attention.

I think All Nite is a great and catchy song, but Janet's vocals are mumbled and you can't understand what she's saying. The song is also kind of monotonous.

I never did understand why Away From The Sun wasn't another smash for them. Maybe its ascent on the Hot AC chart has something to do with it. Edit: I can't believe Simple Plan is still receiving so much airplay. BTW, R&R says Hoobastank had 8532 spins last week, but the LW column in the 1:42am update says 8357. Last week, Twista backwards-bullets 3 spots 22-25* and this week it was Yellowcard 13-16*. Seems like a rare event.

Hilary Duff loses spins & ends up at #41, but with three songs likely going recurrent next week, she should crack the top 40 even with continued minor spin losses.
Song #40 next week could have less than 850 spins at this rate after the recurrents are removed.

I wonder what happened. I think most people here predicted at least top 20 for that song, if not top 10. Hilary Duff loses spins & ends up at #41, but with three songs likely going recurrent next week, she should crack the top 40 even with continued minor spin losses. Song #40 next week could have less than 850 spins at this rate after the recurrents are removed. --DanG Lets hope "Our Lips Are Sealed" sees a -300 loss then.

I'm guessing it might have something to do with WBZZ and KRBV switching formats. The loss of two major market stations could make a dent.
