"She Will Be Loved" was an improvement? Wow. For me, the video ruins the touching sentiment of the song. I mean, he was cheating on his girlfriend with her mom. It's a decent concept, but not for a song like that. I've liked all of Maroon 5's singles, but I have yet to like one of their videos. I've yet to like any of their videos yet either, but I do think each one has gotten slightly better. That's why I hope "Sunday Morning" will be better than the video for "SWBL," which while it's far from great, at least it has a nice setting, somewhat of a storyline, and obviously cost more money than the "This Love" video.

I'm not a big fan of Sunday Morning. Would have much preferred Tangled. I really can't wait to hear the next Maroon 5 album. It will be interesting to see whether they can follow this one up with something just as good. Does anyone know the sales numbers for Songs About Jane?

For some reason, the chorus reminds me of Jamiroqui.

4th single should have been 'Tangled.'

I'm still contemplating this song's success on Pop. It's still not too late to pull the plug on this one and try another, Octone, J, or whoever the record label is.

Wow..."This Love" is still only at #31 on the Hot 100 after 39 weeks on! :o It held steady at #31 this week. I had totally thought that song was long gone!

I didn't really care for this song at first but it is really growing on me now. I wonder how well they can actually do on pop with this song.

MAROON5 Sunday Morning Producer(s): Matt Wallace Writer(s): A. Levine, J. Carmichael Publisher(s): various Genre: POP Label/Catalog Number: Octone/J 65270 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: November 13, 2004
Single No. 4 from Maroon5's triple-platinum set, "Songs About Jane," is another can't-miss romp from America's hottest pop/rock band. For "Sunday Morning," the midtempo vibe is a little bit jazzy, kind of loose and just about elegant—though still plenty hip to stay at the top of kids' iPod playlists. Lead vocalist Adam Levine's voice is deservedly becoming a signature at top 40 radio. (And how refreshing is it to witness the format actually developing staple pop acts again?) Here's a band—whose melodies are consistently crafty and indelible—that continues to surprise by serving up a little something new with each successive single. It took a year to develop "Harder to Breathe," but with "This Love," "She Will Be Loved" and now "Sunday Morning," Maroon5 is in the midst of a roller coaster ride. And radio is a better place for taking us along with it.—CT

Their singles get progressively worse. Harder to Breathe kicked ass. This Love was corny, but didn't become annoying till it got everyplayed. She Will Be Loved was alright, but too fluffy. And now this big turd. Likely to make at least top twenty on pop based on the previous two hits, but it deserves to rot with all the shitty, generic songs like it.

I kinda like this. My second favorite single by them (after "This Love.") Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this'd fit on pop just fine, but I can see it going Top 10... maybe #7 or so.

For some reason, the chorus reminds me of Jamiroqui. Probably because Jamiroqui is quite jazz in sound, and so is this.

Which is exactly what one would normally be doing on a Sunday morning, which is why I like this song. It's a chill song.

This song is soooooooooo boring. There is so much more potential in other songs on the album.

This song plainly sucks. There are alot better songs on the album. Why waste a single on this? I'll predict number 20. I don't think Pop will touch this.

I think this song is great! I also liked "This Love" both of which have a nice soulful touch to it. I however don't really like "She Will Be Loved" i find that song to be a little wimpyish and not as soulful as the other two songs.

Definately not feeling this one. The bands residual popularity will get it a top 15 and then "death by boredom" will befall a track that was already literally DOA.

Worst of the four singles from this album. Hands down. No contest. That being said, will peak at #14.

I don't see how this song is any more boring than a certain tune that's currently #1 with massive airplay. That said, it'll probably fall short of the top ten because it's too different for pop radio.
