I'm surprised everyone thinks this isn't good. I think it's right up there with "This Love" in terms of quality and catchiness. I love it, and it was my favorite on the album based on first listen.
But what a boring video! >:(

This song is pretty good, not as good as their last two singles though, but it should go top 15 at least. :) And Adam looks damn HOT in the video too

Where can I see the video?
While I was hoping either Shiver or Tangled would be released, I like this one as well and hope it goes top 10.

Well, like it or not, here it comes. #45 and rising fast. I guess we'll find out where this will end up pretty soon.

I thought I had replied here. Anyway, I like it. It's about on par with "Harder to Breathe" for me, which was in between "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved". I would have been happy with this or "Must Get Out" as the fourth single.

It would be a tolerable song if it weren't for the lead singer guy's vocals. Utterly slays the song.
Honestly, one of the worst voices I've heard in recently.

This is the right choice for single 4. It's a no brainer. It's a #1 hit. I think the vocals are just fine. I mean i can think of alot worse, i mean i can think of alot

This is a good song from a great album. But "Shiver" and "Tangled" are two of my favorites also.

I'd have to say this isn't gonna as big of a hit as "This Love" of "She Will Be Loved" because it's not as catchy, but that's just me...it's still good
Prediction: #9

Great song and I think it was the most logical choice for the fourth single. But I don't see it hitting #1.

Looks like this isn't going to do much now. Outside the top40 with a 200 bullet.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem to be catching yet.

I cant believe people here seem to love it so much. Its ok and I thought it would do well because of their other three singles...but there were MUCH better choices on the cd. This is a tad boring.

I also think it isn't go so well for them right now. They deserve to be atleast top 20 with this song.

There's nothing bad about this song. It's just too jazzy for pop radio.

There's nothing bad about this song. It's just too jazzy for pop radio. Agree cmpletely. I think Levine and company will get obligatory support from radio until they get to the top 20 and then it will hit major resistance - its not a very special song. #17 but only deserving of a top 30 peak.

There's nothing bad about this song. It's just too jazzy for pop radio. I think what's even giving this song a push at all to pop radio is the sex appeal in the lyrics. Just like in "This Love", which I also think was buoyed by the lyrics other than its bouncy rhythms, the lyrics of "Sunday Morning" do stand out and are rich in imagery. Lines like "paint a picture with my hands" and "steal some covers share some skin" are bound to make many young listeners swoon. Sex sells, and it is lyrics like these that'll help give this single some appeal. Anyway, not only do I think this is their finest single (I don't think it's quite so radio-friendly but just enjoyable) it's also my favorite track from "Songs About Jane" and am pleased it was even released. "Must Get Out" and "Shiver" would have made better commerical singles though. But I'm certainly happy "Shiver", the most boy-band leaning track on the set, wasn't released and instead this jazzy gem was. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

The video for this is very boring. I agree. I was really disappointed when I saw it on VH1. I thought, "That's it? People doing karaoke? No sex-starved lovers or torrid affairs?" Maybe I need to see it more to get a feel for it, but it seriously seems like they couldn't come up with a decent idea so they figure "Hey, why not get other people singing it. That always works!" At least they didn't resort to celebrity cameos during the karaoke session.

I'm disappointed this isn't catching on. 90 stations. +236 at #42. Hopefully it'll pick up after the holidays if it manages to hold on long enough. It really is the second best single off the album and deserves to be another mega hit.

"Sunday Morning" is doing rather poorly right now on the pop chart. Only at #32 it's hanging in there with a bullet of 54. I don't like this song as much as Maroon 5's previous 3 singles but still I am surprised to see this not at least making the top 20. I predict that it'll peak just outside the top 20 at #22.

I still think this will go higher. Its a good song and there is no reason it cant get into the top 25, at least.

And although +54 seems like a very small bullet, you have to think about the rest of the Pop chart. Because of all the year end countdowns and such, the biggest bullet is +373 (Ciara), and normally on Pop, the biggest bullet is around +700, +800, +900, or higher. We will have to wait about a week to see where it really stands.

I might have to revise down my prediction on this. I still like this song, but it just doesn't sound great on the radio like the other singles did. Even with the Maroon 5 name, this song is going to have a hard time breaking the more rhythmic-leaning CHRs.
Of course, I said the same thing about Gavin Degraw, which I also really liked, so what do I know? :)
