I thought MDB didn't enter the Hot 100? It debuted at #100.

OK, I'll probably comment here
Taylor Swift is nowhere near the top 10, among best sellers this week

So yes, among current titles, this is #10
This statistic loses meaning if you can be #15 or 16 for the week and still be considered "top 10"

So yes, among current titles, this is #10 Which, for the umpteenth time, is referenced in the list heading. Nowhere does it say "Best selling albums of the week!", it says "of the Billboard 200." :o ;)

^Ignore 2m when it comes to this subject. The other albums on that list that I started were not consistently outsold by catalog albums. I know people at Pulse (including you) give more weight to the "real official" Billboard 200 & no weight to the Comprehensive chart, I do not. If Taylor Swift is outsold by 14 or 15 other albums but is "officially" top 10, I am going to continue to comment on it.

But that list is for most weeks in the top 10 for the Billboard 200, not the comprehensive chart and Taylor is in the top 10 on the BB200 so I don't see the problem. No-one is saying that she is in the top 10 sales of the week.

If I am still doing the list, I would put an * next to that title. The other albums on that list were in the top 10 overall the entire time. In the case of Taylor Swift, 7 or 8 weeks of being in the "official" top 10 were spent outside the actual top 10.
For example, Avril Lavigne's 37 weeks in the top 10 were spent in the "actual" top 10. Taylor Swift's 38 weeks are watered down a bit
I know the title of the list says "Billboard 200"
When I started this list the top 10 of the Comprehensive chart and the Billboard 200 were almost always the same so it didn't really matter much.
Now there is continually a difference. Something I intend to illustrate when this comes up

I think whoever updates it should post another list that is the comprehensive top 10 then there's no reason for this discussion every time?

There is no argument. This was discussed a few pages back too. I know "Will" is updating the "Billboard 200" he knows I know that. He is free to update my list. Likewise, I am free to add commentary about the differences between the "official" top 10 and the ten best sellers of the week.

There was a list. I made a comment that Taylor Swift finished nowhere near the 10 best sellers of the week. That comment, by itself, is unrelated to the list. My comment was based on a popularity chart. We all know the Billboard 200 is not a popularity chart. That much is clear. My comment can indeed coexist with the list.
Fearless chart run since Michael Jackson's death
10-14-15-14-16-12-12-12-11-10-11-10-17
When compared to the entire music market
And yes I know , when you take out the 46% of the music market that the catalog charts represent, the above chart run is quite a bit higher (The Billboard 200 only represnts about half the market)

Backwards Bullets: This Week In Charts 1968
BEATLES' NUMBER ONE NO. 1: This week in 1968, the Beatles lifted 3-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Hey Jude." The song would spend nine weeks atop the chart, becoming the longest-reigning of the Fab Four's chart-record 20 No. 1 hits.
Two weeks earlier, the song had made Hot 100 history by becoming the first song ever to debut in the top 10, when it launched at No. 10.
"Hey Jude" also became the first chart single for the Beatles on their own Apple Records label.
While the song has long been interpreted as a musical letter from Paul McCartney to John Lennon's son Julian as John and Cynthia Lennon were divorcing, the younger Lennon has stated that it did not always hold a prominent place in his heart. Julian Lennon told the Telegraph in London earlier this year that, though he did not have the closest relationship with his father, "Hey Jude" has ultimately been a positive force in his life.
"I had been told when I was a kid (that it was about me), but I'd forgotten. It was not until my early teens that I was reminded," Lennon said.
"I can't say it directly helped with any reconciliation, but what it did mean to me was that there were other people on the fringe of our life that had a great deal of love, not only for myself, but for mum, too.
"To this I still have to appreciate and thank Paul for his love and care. It was a very, very kind gesture and one it seems that will never be forgotten."
Amidst the current wave of Rock Band and remasters-fueled Beatlemania, the Beatles last week moved 626,000 copies of their catalog in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
'MAN' POWER: A Billboard Singles Review 41 years ago this week predicted a joyous union between country radio and Tammy Wynette's then-new track, "Stand By Your Man."
"This poignant ballad should fast take the soulful performer right back up to No. 1. Powerful production and exceptional material."
Four decades later, "Stand By Your Man" remains the late legend's signature song and one of the most essential anthems in country music history. On Oct. 19, 1968, it would become Wynette's fifth of 20 career No. 1s on Country Songs.
DIAMOND RECORD: An advertisement in the Billboard issue this week in 1968 touted a Major League pitcher who threw a career curveball by moonlighting as a musician.
Read the Capitol Records ad, "Pick up any magazine. Watch any TV station. Read any newspaper. They're filled with news of 30-game winner Denny McLain.
"And, publicity is building up to fever pitch as the World Series approaches. Every time his name is mentioned, his skill as an organist gets as much attention as his prowess as a pitcher."
"Denny McLain at the Organ: The Detroit Tigers' Superstar Swings with Today's Hits" never did reach the Billboard 200 album chart, but McLain continued his magical season on the baseball field. In October 1968, McLain would prevail in a must-win game six over the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series, setting the stage for the Tigers to win the title in seven games.
_____________
I didn't even know that "Hey Jude" was the first song to debut in the top-10 until now.
Does anyone know what other songs have before Michael and Janet did with "Scream"?

I have a trivia question. I'm trying to figure out which artists have the most successive decades with #1 singles. I can think of only a few artists who have 3 decades:
Michael Jackson (70s/80s/90s) Madonna (80s/90s/00s) Janet Jackosn (80s/90s/00s) Stevie Wonder (60s/70s/80s)
But that's all I got. A few artists will probably join in the 2010s (90s/00s/10s) - Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, maybe Christina Aguilera.
MJ has a tiny shot of adding 00s to his list, but that seems unlikely now given the release strategy for This Is It.
I can't find anybody with four decades. I would think Janet or Madonna has the best shot at that, although I wouldn't be surprised if both are done earning #1 hits at this point, since their last were in 01 and 00 respectively. (Although Madonna sure came close with 4 Minutes!)
